The padlock is pointless. There is nothing to stop someone undoing (of cutting) the strap !!

If your walking in the woods with scissors or a knife then they are bigger cocks than just a thief! There is very little in this world that is knob jockey, bellend chav, robbing prick proff. Houses, cars, bikes, banks and even Buckingham palace so I am pretty sure a trail cam is fair game to the pond scum that inhabit our planet! Maybe I should make a video to please the lads stating the obvious and saying someone can cut that and do a video on how to make a trail cam invincible to theft well don’t take it would be that answer. People padlock their wooden sheds PMSL can you believe that! So short answer is yes you can cut it but if you are that intent on going out to steal cams nothing will ever stop them!
