The amount of times I could see myself cutting the pieces wrong, or messing up an entire section and just rage quitting 😭
It's quite tricky indeed because everything is like tiny, I spent hours building this small ship model but it's fun tho 😂
If you get the correct tools for the metal earth or metal models period it makes building so much easier and less chabce of breaking parts wheb you bend and fold and roll. The hardest parts is the rolled ones like cylinders and curves with out the round rolling tool that you slowly curve the part aroubd it until its perfect and the pliers have no ridges to scratch parts and have a lip to help with making bends. And the neddle nose ones for this are perfect for twisting and folding the tiny tabs.i always buy two cause i always break atleast two parts when building these models

It's fiddly because some of the pieces are too small

This was my second ever metal earth model it wasnt actually to hard at all compared to the 1937 ford truck, cars ones like the mustang, 32 ford hot rod coupes and basically all of the caretal earth models. Some of those pieces are so tiny with complex curves and roundness and 90 degree and offsets on one piece that is like the size of a blunt carayola crayon and smaller and its so small you cant hold on fingers or use tweezers to bend the curves and offsets into the parts any tricks on bending and shaping the very very tiny parts that are super small and how to hold them and get them into thier spot and secured down on to the model easily
All it needs is an icecube in front of it
How crazy this model is made entirely of metal!! I love it!! Goodness, even as a miniture that ship is still enormous. What a sight it must've been to see that ship sail.

I love photoetched parts, but lord they are unforgiving. Once you get a little kink, it ain't coming out.
If yall want a really hard metal earth modek to build that is very tedious and time consuming try the monster truck. You gotta bend these little flaps on every piece that makes up the tire and its 8 pieces total with 60-80 flaps that gotta be folded carefully to make the tread of the tires very tedious repetitive model but looks amazing. This titanic is a breeze compared ot the mknster truck

That's not the point of the un painted metal earth models point is to leave it shiny metal cause it's the look and looks amazing with tons of them in a display cabinet also the painted ones that are pre painted are really beautiful to. So if you want painted ones you can buy the pre painted ones cause regular hobby paint won't stick
