That overhead helicopter view 0:04 - 1:43 is OUTSTANDING!!! And Killy wasn't skiing. He was balls out FLYING!!!

Жан-Клод - это кумир нашей молодости! Не было у нас ни горных лыж, ни ботинок. А как хотелось катать по трассам. Лыжи делали сами из равнинных. Ботинки привязывали веревками к колечкам, прикреплённым к лыжам. Позже настольной книгой нам была "На лыжах вместе с Килли".

I wonder if JC Killy won by a greater margin than his ingenious (Still used!!) starting technique subtracted from his time [in all three events]--and whether any other racers were using it at Grenoble. MARVELous, Hard training--"Le Champion"--dominant racer of the 60s.
