Another revisit to your performance. Your performance of Prokofiev is damn amazing! You deserved the audience prize, best performance for the commissioned piece prize, and most especially second prize! Don’t listen to the people who trash talk you. They are beneath you. You were one of the stars of this competition!
I’m just rewatching this performance and am noticing all of the nuances and colors that accentuate this performance. I’m even more positive and proud that she won second prize! She truly deserves it! ❤🎉
I love songha's interpretation of this violin concerto, and i could find attractions and enjoy this music although i didn't prefer prokofiev's so much before.
I thought she was the weakest one out of all yhe 6 finalists. The prokofiev was very dull and i felt like the orchestra and soloist were out of step with each other half the time. Also her overall tone is very thin and there isnt a lot of variety in her playing. Im surprised she won 2nd place.
I disagree with your opinion. A smooth and stable tone does not suit Prokofiev. And as you know, this piece is very difficult. It would not have been easy to lead the third movement with the orchestra, but she managed to do it. Above all, she willingly took risks while creating a vivid tone color.
I disagree with your opinion too, honestly her Prokofiev was tremendously amazing and energetic! I loved her interpretation of it! Her beautiful style of playing and her beautiful colors of tone fit this beautiful violin concerto. She is not the weakest, she is one of the most strongest in the competition and her tone is not dull, her beautiful tone can reproduce different colors to fit the style of Prokofiev and many other pieces too.
@@kimmyviolinmedina0406couldn’t have said it better myself! Songha was definitely one of the strongest candidates out here, I knew it as soon as she played her first rounds! I’ve listened to a lot of prokofiev concerto no. 2s, and she definitely studied him in depth! I was also putting top prize between her and Dmytro considering how aggressively well and passionate they poured themselves into the music too! Bravo Songha Choi for a blessed and fantastic competition! ❤🎉🎉🎉😊😊
