    Dude, this stuff is gold. I only vaguely remembered you from random DNeg clips, but these videos are mesmerizing. Just really good accessible analysis for the casual player (or more...can't speak to that). I think you've found a niche here. Get Daniel to do just one co-analysis and this will blow up huge.

    Thank you again Lex! Very helpful when you discuss and explain the actions in those certain situations, like the AQo hand. Also, great advice on how you can use high-stake strategy at any level with proper adjustments. Maybe go more into that in another video explaining what adjustments you would or do make at lower stakes. Loving the new TH-cam content, keep up the great work!

    Can't tell you how much I appreciate Lex as a person. If I were to make a list of positive adjectives about this poker player, it would certainly be very long. A really good man. Thank you and good luck Lex for your new start on yt, especially that you are willing to begin teaching the crowd poker strategy from scratch again.

    Hi Lex. As a beginner trying to learn poker I see a lot of coaching about the equity & EV calculations. I see from your live streams that you don't mention it that much and instead you mostly talk about hand ranges. Do you use this equity calculations regularly during hands or less so?

    This was an excellent video

  • @MHGFTW
    @MHGFTW ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The thing about "ranges" is that at lower stakes, a lot of people don't know about it themselves. You bluff on the river because this board of low cards favors my range and they call with A high anyway. You hit top pair and call them down, but they have 2 pair. They raise with 6 9 from UTG. Can't put them on a range when they don't know about ranges.

    whats a good solver out there for a cheap price or even free?

  • @spand1222
    @spand1222 ปีที่แล้ว

    Tbh i think whats the most important in lower stakes is realising opponent types, and exploit them, i would purely focus on this as a beginner cause once u figure out others playstyle u can make smart decisions where in the long run u will make money

  • @eldoctorx
    @eldoctorx 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    2:00 the other thing to mention is that calling from SB means you will always be the first to act on the flop, which isn't fun at all. That's the biggest reason why it's not always worth completing from the SB

    Hi Lex, love your videos! I was wondering what would you do at 13:41 if the other player went all-in over the top? Is it ever worth it to call and be in multi-way all in situation or do you just fold?

    • @lh5636
      @lh5636 ปีที่แล้ว

      and maybe some guy does bluff 4bet but it is a bad bluff in the spot for the concept they are seeing

    • @lh5636
      @lh5636 ปีที่แล้ว

      wat daar staat is: ik call de nooit bluff 4bet denk ik en deze flop helaas de lul & als dat fout is kan je wat ik niet denk pre calle 60 diep 1010 deze pot, maar ik denk 3bet value call 4bet deze keer met alle omstandigheden de lul en weet het ook niet zeker maar daar schuiven is vgm minder ev door hun ranges sinds ak graag 5 kaarten wil zien en zo mis neer kan leggen?!

    Hey Lex! I have the problem, that I wanted to join your channel on Discord. However if I click on the link you wrote here, it opens my Discord on a browser and kinda creates a new Discord account, which sucks! As far as I know, you can Invite people with a link on top of the left side when you are in your channel (which you can create for yourself, for example the link doesnt expire and endless invites etc.). Maybe you can post this Link, I dont know.. Or maybe you or anyone else can explain me what instead I should do. Feels bad.. I'm sorry :/

    I'll actually play hands like 63 and 64 for the right price in microstakes because so many players will play a4 and a3 that the straight will auto stack them

    Idea: homework for viewers.
    Example:
    1. Pick a hand like 14:37 (55 on 9K7-5), pause it on the crucial moment, ex: on the turn, and say: «What and why would you do in this spot? Leave an answer below my pinned comment».
    2. Leave a pinned comment «Reply to this comment with your homework answer». So people can't accidentally see others answers.
    3. In the next video, a week after, show this hand fully whit names of viewers who’s guess was right.
