agreed! same with the whole "don't look at me" when you're the one who is wearing a skimpy top and bottoms where you're barely wearing any clothing. Don't yell at other people for looking. You're the one who asked for it. lol.
Hair Buddha, recently colouring my hair looking in the mirror, all I could hear was ' TAKE FINE SECTIONS' lol..... your method is working, my hair looks great, Thankyou
I thought that too! She is part latina I think. Her make-up and all fit that vibe. And those curls❤ so beautiful and healthy curls are rare... But like it is so often: They want what they can't have.
Nah. Like seriously, you going to pay for it? Promise it will come out the color I want? No? Then sweetie YOU can go to the salon. I'm perfectly capable of bleaching and coloring my hair without issue. Just because you don't understand it, doesn't mean no one does. 😂
I’m so happy for his advice, they’re so many of us who can’t afford to go to a hairstylist. Even though we know we should, we just can’t afford to. This is FREE ADVICE, by a professional perfectionist❤
I have a wish. Please take a blonde mannequin and dye half of the hair with box dye black. Bleach different sections to different levels and at the end .. Put wella t18 all over, to show the results of this magical toner. I'm sure this would be an extremely interesting video
It’s 2am, I should be asleep, instead I’m lying in bed shaking with laughter at the “fine sections” and the “ no no no no no”… 😂😂😂 Bleach is not a military heat seeking missile that can work its way around thick sections 😂 honestly hair bhudda makes me smile DAILY!! 😂😂😂
I really enjoy watching your videos! I have not dyed my hair since the year 2000. { It's 2024 now.} I bought hair dye that is about as close to my own hair color as possible. I'm 60 and I find my hair has become dull over these past few years. My hair is naturally dark brown. Now with a couple of greys. Those don't bother me- it's the dullness I want to get rid of.
People don't like to read. In my country, a woman lost her hair because she applied a straightening cream thinking it was a hair mask. She only saw the list of oils in the product.
The part about protein vs hydration is good advice!!! I thought for long that my split ends need moisture. Now I am using protein and the split ends are less. But they do feel hard. Which I misread as damage. However 😅 it's just ends as hard as steel 💪😂
Thank you so much for your videos. Because of your tips I was able to dye my hair red at home with my daughter’s help and it turned out wonderful. “Fine sections” really makes all the difference.
I'm just imagining you waking up in the night, drenched in sweat, screaming "not the quick blue!!!" "Take finer sanctions" 😂😂😂 I love this videos. 😂😂😂 greetings from Germany 🌹🌹🌹
I remember I once tried to lighten my dark hair at home, all it did was go Brassy! Someone asked if I dyed my hair Ginger and I was like 'I WISH my hair was Ginger, that is a beautiful colour!' No this is brassy, I can start my own Horn Section with my locks! lol xo
Ooh! That's interesting. Do you mean... natural grey hair turning it into another colour. Or do you mean any kind of hair and making it grey? Cos the last one he made videos on that. Well, he talks about it in many videos that are about rainbow and pastel colours
I have learned so much from you and a few others. I have only used 10v for the last several years when bleaching. 1) to lessen damage and 2) I have a lighter brown (I was blonde as a kid) and it lighten fairly easily.
@Hairbudda. I have learned so much from you even though I've never bleached my hair or had it bleached and I never would! My hair is dark brown and I like my color. I have a cousin and niece who like to bleach their hair (they always end up orange and stop) so I will share your wisdom with them. I love your personality, especially when you say "Sections!!!"
Am I the only person that really loves the copper that comes with natural black hair during bleaching process??❤❤❤❤❤❤ It! Its rich and chocolatey while also coppery. I would stop there. Mine doesn't look like that when I lighten. Goes straight to orange.
Being a hair stylist is probably like being a defense attorney. By that i mean, y'all need the client to be honest so you start working thinking that what they told you was the absolute truth. Only to find out that they left out some important details. 🤣🤣
I think these fails w their chaotic applications quick blu 40 vol t8 or better yet purple shampoo are hb's hell on earth. He is definitely going straight to heaven after all this!😂😂
Base rule: If you can count the sections... it's not enough!😂 Also... you can buy stuff to protect your neck for a few bucks everywhere in the US and Europe... And you can safe all the t-shirts plus your skin.
Haha, a friend of mine wondered about my beyond normal knowledge of the bleaching process. Thanks to you, what I am doing to become blond is. Bleach bath (colour is not built up.) Waiting a few days for supplies to arrive and give my scalp a chance to recover, even though only a bleach bath and not on scalp. I'll shampoo, treat and then let build up again while waiting on the mail. My roots are well overdue so they will be bleached first up to about 1-2cm from my scalp. See how everything is after that and hopefully just the last of my roots left after rinsing. Only 20vol. I have the oleplex coming. Blonde me isn't as easy to get here... I have gone with a hairdresser generic, probably not much better than quick blue, honestly. Also, once I'm happy with the colour, I will go and seek assistance at a hairdresser that also has a heavy retail focus for the right toner or colour. If you have further advice, let me know. You are already in my head chanting sections while I'm doing hair. Bleaching hair is not something i am new to but i have been refining my skills for over 20 years. Of course these years more than any!
My Goodness she made this a very complicated long drawn out process. I’ve been highlighting my own extremely long hair for decades with good results; I’ve always used Wella products but you’ve mentioned Schwarzkopf BlondMe several times in your videos. I’m going to give it a try w/20 vol. I’m aware of the saying “if it’s not broke, don’t fix it” so I hope I’m not making a mistake. Perhaps I’m wrong but I’m under the impression BlondMe is a bit more gentle on hair? I’m not generally a risk taker (and you will never hear me say “it’s just hair”). I’m trusting you on this Hair Buddha as I find you to be the most knowledgeable hairdresser I’ve seen on YT. I sincerely appreciate the pro tips you give and I especially appreciate the fact that along with the tip you give the explanation as to why it needs to be done a certain way. Thank you! Wish me luck............
I’ve been self dying my hair since I was 15 from black box dye to, blonde maroon burgundy, blue, teal, and now hot pink / magenta. Definitely not a professional job but my hair is almost to my hips and still rather healthy. My hair was dark brown this time, i definitely or ombré let it was like that last time. I got a manic panic kit; which normally I’d never do cause it comes with 30 vol developer so I only let it sit for less than 20 mins checking every 2-5 mins. I didn’t have a toner per the one I needed NOT t18 ( can we normalize it doesn’t work on brassy cat pee color hair ) so it was a little brassy but the manic panic color cover it so well it even tinted the top. I still watched so many videos before even putting a tester strand. 😂
I agree! I’m in the US and have been watching qualifications for the Olympics. Some of the track and field girls are wearing these lashes with full makeup!
There are some that aren't huge caterpillar eyelashes that look more natural... or even the indivisible pieces. I'm highly allergic to most mascara. My eyes just turn RED, start watering and burning like mad. My lashes are very short and light so I buy the shorter eyelashes and use them with no mascara... it looks very natural and my kids and friends (all of whom I trust to tell the truth) say it looks good. ❤❤❤
Just wanted to say that I’m waiting for this ion pigments blue color depositing conditioner to wash out of my hair, it’s been a little over a month and I’ve even resulted to bleaching my hair… still the stubborn baby blue is there and is adding to the calico cat effect .. can’t wait to move on to the next step and have one uniform color❤I appreciate the professionals!! My artsy self decided that it was a great idea to just have fun and experiment 😮the joke is on me
God I love you, man. 😂 The way you suffer watching it, it's so adorable. But seriously thank you, I decided to dye some of my hair blue, I wanted to do it myself, but I was watching your videos and decided it's better to go to the salon, and when the girl was bleaching my hair I was watching her taking finest sections and I knew I'm safe)) thank you so much for your videos
I don't see why there is so much hate on the quick blue bleach, I used it for bleaching my hair so I can dye it different colors from arctic fox and it doesn't hurt my hair and works really well and lightens me very fast and I only need to do one bleaching with it. I have dark hair and quick blue and sensitive ion 30 volume developer doesn't burn me or hurt my hair much at all since I do 1 bleach session with it and I almost get white blonde with it.
He said previously that it’s not “bad” but it’s like really low on the product scale. But apparently in the late 80s and 90s, it was a great product. It does say it in the video: it was great 20 years ago. But now that there are better products on the market, with ingredients that are more gentle on your hair, additives that give better results or something like that. And some of these products are quite more expensive than QB, but some are around the same price. So he does suggest to maybe use something “better” or that will give you better results. Among other things, he likes BlondeMe, but I think it’s harder to find in North America. Maybe a way to simply think about QB would be to draw a parallel with soda/pop for example, where Quick Blue is like a generic Cola brand vs Coke or Pepsi. Or using maybe a better comparison would be that QB is like currently using an iPhone 8… Now if you watch his videos regularly, including this one attentively, you hear him say to use 20% for developper. It kills more pigments and it’s less damaging. And you might be able to do one application only as well. Maybe give it a try next time you buy developper.
I love when people post and say "Don't judge me". If you don't want to be judged don't post. 😂
I know right? Especially when they already know people will do it lol
agreed! same with the whole "don't look at me" when you're the one who is wearing a skimpy top and bottoms where you're barely wearing any clothing. Don't yell at other people for looking. You're the one who asked for it. lol.

I'm happy
@@hair-buddha so am I 😂❤

Don't they all 😊
Quick blue bucket 😂
Stop putting the bucket of quick blue in my face, please! 🤣
Love your explanations on the chemistry of changing your hair. Very understandable and relatable.
She was right telling everyone to go to a hair salon! Thank you Hair Buddha for another entertaining video 😊

lol t18 is not the solve all. Theres different toners that do better depending on how brassy your hair is.
@@MeadowsMiniFarm that's why I asked him to do it. So ppl can see that it doesn't necessarily work
