It was an excellent platformer- buttery smooth controls, great sound effects, nice graphics for the time and it rewarded patience and focus... shame it didn't earn a higher place in the pantheon.
Played Atari version back in "88 in Poland (then behind the iron curtain) during technology/craft class in primary school at the age of 12. Great teacher taught us even programming in BASIC. I remember also Mouse Trap and Dig dug.

You can kill those monsters hanging from the ceilings. Stand on the floor above them and make a jump.

I enjoyed this as a kid. It could be kinda unforgiving though - one pixel over the edge and BOOM you're dead.

I adore the c64 Version.
Yeah it's very good, I grew up with this version seeing it round a mates at school, so I guess it's the original for me :-)
I think if you choose different Skill in titlle screen, you can play more levels, in more labyrinth like style, at least you can do it on C64
Not sure about that one mate, i've played the Atari version enough not to have noticed that.

Yeah I remember that sequel, as you said only available for the C64 but I still like this :-)
