I am sorry but physical or online store ''retailers'' have simply been using Chinese suppliers and selling the same merchandise you see on there, sometimes repackaged, personalized with custom brand, they can also get custom packaging for their brands if they really ''try hard'' with branding. But then they go ahead and slam a 100% price increase on the consumer and the more you see the price differences when you go to stores, the more you think these people are just profiteers. As a consumer right now going through inflation I am sorry but I can not support the local economy if by local economy you mean some guy who just ships the merch to him then resells it. I'll buy locally made or produced or from some small business like a bakery etc but I'm never buying these home and beauty or novelty goods anymore from real physical stores here. They just be scamming people. At least have more reasonable profit margins.
