I didn't react properly to the lasagna bar because I'd just heard it so many times - didn't realise this was the origin!!
No mention of Lupe vs Royce? How did 2 of the best lyricists ever diss each other and none of y’all “Hiphop” reviewers are taking about it? I know it won’t get a lot of views but not even a mention of it?
@@RealRap619 Lowkey
you gotta react to tha carter ii. love the channel
@@RealRap619 They don’t owe you anything bro let them react to what they want
@no Nobody’s mad lol. Just surprised
I genuinely forgot how much of a masterpiece this track is
Same lol
It's a classic
Megaman way better >>>>>
@@felix3033 no it is not lmao
@@kungfubrandon6886 easily
When that beat drops, it’s a whole another nevel
BR
It bumps in the car with subs lol
looks like spellcheck took a vacation
i think you forgot to turn Grammarly on
This song is TIMELESS
Still goes as hard as it did back then today. Weezy was light years ahead of these boys
This is one best lyricism in a song I’ve ever hear Wayne is great 😭
Megaman better
@@felix3033 Nope...but Megaman is fire. So is that interlude with Tech N9ne & Andre 3000
listen to his no ceilings mixtape he does this on almost all of the songs
You must've never listened to old Wayne lol. Pre 2010 Wayne.
@@dorianc1149 no the fuck he doesn’t lmao
Kids now will never understand how ridiculous lil Wayne was 🐐🐐🐐
Wayne is still ridiculous
I’m 16 but Wayne is def top 5
Nah, he's GOATed. The kids who actually get into hip-hop will definitely appreciate Wayne. Hes just one of those guys now. He's mentioned with Nas, Dre, Jay Z, Em, Tupac, Biggie, Rakim, MF DOOM, Andre 3k, etc. He'll forever be known. Some dudes are killers on the mic, but don't have that legend status that lets them live on. But Wayne definitely has that status.
He is still the top 3 feature artist atm , they understand bro😭🙏
This is a top 10 song ever
Real Gs move in silence like lasagna
best line of all time
That took me a solid 5 minutes of thinking it was some inappropriate joke I was missing and then it hit me and I about died
That line is amazing
Such a sick punchline😂💥
Nearly all lyrics here are bars, and extremely quotable. 😂 My favorite is "I got through that sentence. Like a subject and a predicate.", and also the "family picture" line.
The reason Cory gunz is featured on this song is because lil Wayne took him off a milli. The original a milli features Cory gunz but he decided to release his version only. So he promised to make a song with him and here it is.
Two classics
Cory would of been special but he lost focus and started hit chasing 🤦🏿♂️
He should’ve left him off this one too😂😂
@@jjortega20 his verse was hard whatchu talkin bout?
@@NoHandlzz his verse is objectively pretty hard but this beat was simply made for wayne's voice
The lasagna line went over my head as a kid lmaooo I ended up getting it 2 years later
It wasn’t until rn that I realized he said real g’s. As a kid I always thought he said real cheese
@@francojimenez9093 real cheese move in silence like lasagna 🔥🔥🔥🙏
I’ve seen this quote of the bar so many times, it was today that I understood it was from this song. Never realised, I’m 23 and when this came out I was 13, it took me 10 years 😭🤣
It's not that great of a line
it took me like 7 years to realize that line 😂
Jon has officially converted from a metal head to a hip hop head
Where can I find his metal reviews?

Facts😍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
*Metaphors
I was 12 when this song came out, now I'm 23 and it's still hits the same way to this day.
This song is 10 years old tho
@@anishchaganti9715 His math is still right.
@@anishchaganti9715 are you tapped? 😂
I think I was 8 or 9.. hearing it again so many bars flew over my head.. MAD
The Lasagna bar always gets me
Real Gs move in silence like giannis
Took me years to catch that bar & now it’s my fav lol
the g in lasagna isn't silent tho :( still it's crazy
Lil Wayne top 5 lyricists of all time. Not a debate.
Put some respect on this 💯
Top 5 rapper ever.. Not a debate.
@@chakilclarke735 yessir
And he not 2, 3, 4, or 5
Lil Wayne is top 5 dead or alive. Influenced a whole generation of rappers that are spitting images of him, at least 4 classic projects, put on drake and nicki. Mans checklist everything you want in a goat
Tomorrow Isiah Rashad's new album is dropping. I'm sorry, but your going to be required to react to it. This is a mandatory assignment.
factual statement sir
That uzi feature👌
Faxxxxxxxx💯🤷🏽♂️
@@ethanle8511 I've been listening to the one with uzi on it for the past hour and a half on repeat
He will, isaiah is his favourite from tde
I remember like it was yesterday when tha carter IV came out.
bro fr. I remember bumping Blunt Blowin on the way home from school
This song keeps aging so damn well like the finest wine
I still think this might genuinely be the best rap song of all time
One of the hardest hip-hop songs of 2011. Remember we used to bump this with the fam hahah. Bar after bar.
"Okay, I lost my mind, it's somewhere out there stranded
I think you stand under me if you don't understand me"
Bro Wayne's wordplay is unmatched by ANYONE
So misunderstood but what's the world without enigma
Legendary💯💯
i wish i could hear this song for the first time
how many likes will it take to get the full Carter IV reaction on youtube?
None. He’ll upload a video of it in a few weeks or you can see the full one on his Patreon… like always
Kinda rather have 3
he didn’t upload the blkswn smino reaction 😔😔
@@kyloren9588 he did a smino album reaction??
M SPACE S Electrical love the dp bro!! CASisdead is a real one!!
Cory Gunz ripped that song to pieces and then disappeared never to be seen again 🤣🤣
@The truth shall set Bronsexuals free Nah he's on his latest album just he never release music so he disapeared...
I first heard this song on the Madden 12 soundtrack and I got blown away how amazing it is!
This is a lyrical masterpiece, he snapped on this one
We need reactions to all Tha Carter Albums!!!
Da Drought 3 and Dedication 2 would be appreciated as well!
No Ceilings too please!
Throw in No Ceilings
@@travisj8110 You right. Can’t believe I forgot about that one
D2 BABY
Watching someone witness this masterpiece for the first time brings a tear to my eye fr
if your doing old wayne, you should react to “da drought 3”
Kendrick an schoolboy killed this beat as well once upon a time
rip to the black hippy remixes
@@Dilllll26 the good days of tde lol
Hit em wit the ) piece BINKBINKBINKBINKBINKBINBINKBINK..,,BINK
I think it's called Year of the Fire Sheep if I remember correctly
Wayne’s verse was legendary, but Cory Gunz verse had one the best start out of the blocks I’ve ever heard. “Word to my mama, I’m outta my lima bean, don’t wanna see what that drama mean, guess I’m Dramamine. Lama scream. Hotter than summer sun on a Ghana Queen.”
I always knew of Cory's music as I'd heard a few songs back in 08' & 09'. But This feature put him & Militia Gang on the map. So glad he went last as he only built on the lyrical hype
I still bump this song. This beat goes hard. This one is my favorite lil Wayne song and up up and away
It brings me pure joy to see someone discover this for the first time. This was great, and imhere for more of it. Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes, Kanye. All that!
Satisfied with nothing(zero or 0), you dont know the half of it. Zero cant be halved. Is it a math bar or a reach?
holy shit, wayne is a GENIUS 🤣what the fuck
Nah when I caught that the first time my mind was blown lmao
Thats a reach but still fire
Most great songs can be deep dived into like this one
Real g's move in silence like Lasagna will forever be the best bar
Man if he does Tha Carter III I'm gonna lose it, just the two Kanye tracks on there alone are classics and that's just two songs the album is a classic
Comfortable and Let the Beat Build!! Hot tracks🔥🔥
Jon Denton reaction = never disappointed 😎
Beat the beat up call it self defense line is CRAZILY UNDERRATED
WAYNE SZN FINALLY?! Please do Carter III & No Ceilings
Carter 4 is an underrated wayne project tbh. Along with Dedication 5 for me
Big facts people really sleep on how hard D5 is
Carter 3 is just so damn good that everything else he's done gets overshadowed by it.
Lmaoooo he shot the massage gun
This beat shakes you to your core. All time classic
How has our lord and prophet genuinely not heard this masterpiece? 😂 Love the content as always Jon
“Mind so sharp I fuck around and cut my head off” OMGGG😭😭😭
Tha Carter 4 is such a classic album. Wayne was just having fun out there and was still murdering beats
Megaman >>>>>
When this, John, How to Love and She Will were the four singles out for C4 before the whole album dropped…. you couldn’t tell me this wasn’t gonna be the best album of all time lol
Kendrick and Schoolboy Q remix of this is also FIRE
i just listened to that for the first time after i saw this. holy shit…
still my favorite rap song ever. period. and I dont think itll ever lose that spot
Just became a patron! Honestly, it was so I could watch your full album reaction to this! None the less, I love all of your reactions so thank you! Also, sometimes I miss your friend from your other channel that you did reactions on.
Hey John, would you consider covering the Lupe v Royce da 5’9 beef? Some fire music has come out.
carter 4 my fav album of all time and that’s no joke. so much energy from wayne and this wayne is unmatched by any rapper ever in my opinion. i can still to this day listen to this album and be amazed at the bars he puts into this album. this is the only album I can say i know every lyric from wayne front to back. president carter has got me through many tough times in life
Definitely an all time favourite of mine and my favourite Wayne song, this blew my fucking mind when I was 12
Dude we need some mixtape wayne reactions!! Ungodly bars and flows. Plus it’s free so it shouldn’t be copy written right? You could have a whole wayne series 🤣
U.O.E.N.O
For Nothing
Dreams and Nightmares
I’m Nice
Your Name Is
V8
Don’t Kill
Those just some of my favorites.
Is this the kick-off for a whole Carter Season?? 😤😤
i literally was just listening to this last night….
Some people take pre workout before the gym, I just put this track on full blast. 🤷♂️
Ah this is like my introduction to rap as a kid, just got hit by a huge nostalgia wave. If I had to rap a song with a gun to my head, word for word, I’d choose this or Right Above It.
“I got through that sentence like a subject and a predicate”
The best rap song of all time imo
Pls. a full reaction to any kanye album.
Finally a full Wayne album. Did he start with C4?
This a classic. Real G's move in silence like lasagna🤘
I hope he drops the whole carter 4 reaction on TH-cam
You know the first reaction is genuine when the person doesn't catch the lasagna bar! 🐐
Poor Cory Gunz just peaked here. What a mountain to peak on though
On god you gotta do a album reaction to no ceilings after this one, if you haven’t already
Megaman is my fav track on this album
we needed this
listen to his no ceilings mixtape!!!!
Years later and every almost every single line from this song is a top tier instagram caption
@jondenton Always enjoy the depth and in general the due diligence you do before and during reactions. Peerless
Impatiently waiting for full album reactions for some influential classics on a lot of the music you react to
1. M.I.A. - Arular, Kala
2. Amy Winehouse - Frank, Back to Black
3. Fugees - The Score
4. Camp Lo - Uptown Saturday Night
5. Santigold - Santigold
6. Ms. Dynamite - A Little Deeper
7. Outkast - Atliens, Stankonia
Bruh I was in the 7th grade when this song came out back in 2010 now I’m 23 time flies 😥
Lil wayne it’s just the goat 🐐
Stole this album from my big sister when I was 12 and memorized every word to this song and it still hits just as hard every time
Does anyone think Jon should react to 'No Ceilings' or 'Sorry 4 The Wait' 👀👀👀 2 of top 10 mixtapes of all time
So glad people are hearing this song for the fists time and still recognizing it as an all time classic! It doesn't get much more 🔥 than this. Shout to to Weezy the 🐐
this block is a whole bloody decade behind, tomorrow he should react to Mozarts 5th symphony
Bahaha some tunes are timeless bro
Shoulda honestly done the video too, classic
Video really adds to the song. Its probably the best Wayne video so far.
whole album fire
Wayne is defiantly top 3 .... hands down 💯‼️‼️‼️💯
One of my favourite lil wayne tunes 👍👍
One of the best songs of all time
Lil Wayne is your favourite rappers favourite rapper, give this man his roses while he’s still here
I remember people knowing every bar of this song two days after it came out it’s timeless
bro this whole album is just full of metaphors that made Wayne the king around 10 years ago. He and his Young Money team was unstoppable at the time
There's a whole subgenre of DOOM inspired rappers that are worth discovering, such as Open Mike Eagle, Mach Hommy and Billy Woods of Armand Hammer.
A whole subgenre of music that'll put you to sleep 💤
What a banger
I WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL WHEN THIS DROPED. I was in primary when I first heard lollipop drop. When I listened to Carter IV so I was convinced I'd never hear such bars from rap.. and I never did.
This was a song I had to play again right away when I first heard it.
Lil wayne is the GOAT for a reason
Love this album
missed a lot of punch lines but i don't blame you, it took me 6 years to catch a lot of them
I remember when I first heard this so long ago. i wasnt readyyyyy lmaoo
Finally 🔥
Bruh I can spit Wayne’s verses all the way through. That nigga snapped💯
Bro, that Shit ist more Classic than Mozart xD
This and A Milli are the songs that got me into Wayne.
This is my favorite Lil Wayne song
This and She will we’re the best songs that dropped that year
this will forever be my favorite wayne song
