    I've been looking for tutorials on this topic for a while but every other tutorial I've seen was garbage. Yours was exactly what I was looking for a straight to the point. I look forward to more tutorials on your channel

    I've watched a couple of videos on how to change the tempo in pro tools and its was useless for me ...so I doubted you at first tbh seeing that you was a female but giiiirl was I wrong you teach me two lessons today that women could be good studio engineers too... I've been messing with music for quite some time and your the first females engineers I've ever come cross🍀🦄.... you go girl!

    Maybe its because I'm running an old version of protools but I used the method on a session and the Bass tracks went all weird. It made the bass tracks make strange "gurgling" noises. Still a good trick to know, but I just thought I'd mention the issues it seems to have with low end information.

      Hey Adam! For sure you can only do so much with this before the audio is going to get artifacts from doing it.

    What if my song doesn't align perfectly with the grid because I record real instruments like an actual musician?

    • @AMACULENTMINDSET

      You would still just be changing the tempo of the song that you recorded however out of time you wanted too

    So like I gave 2 track stem to my singer "Key of D" and he pitched that down -38 cents and then sang his vocals. He claims it became the Key of C which it did not but it also slowed down the tempo. HIs vocal takes are good and I want to use them, how do I adjust my session to match the tuning and timing of his vocals? I still have tower to do on the song / session as well. The other concern is that the song will be in non standard tuning.

    • @AMACULENTMINDSET
      @AMACULENTMINDSET  ปีที่แล้ว

      Just turn your stuff down -38 cents as well with a plug in that doesn’t compensate for time and it should match. I wouldn’t worry about it not being in standard tuning. If you had to use auto tune you can also pitch is down 38 cents

    does this work if lets say i want to speed up the beat first then record over the sped up beat? this what im specifically tryna do and i ask cause whenever i do this which was clearly the wrong thanks to you now i know, i usually get weird sounding vocals they just off in everyway possible since im just changing the bpm lol , so does ur method solve this?

    • @AMACULENTMINDSET
      @AMACULENTMINDSET  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@AMACULENTMINDSET hey i have another question regarding this, lets say i wanted to blend in a slowed down and sped up portions with maybe even the regular speed version to a beat, could i do this with this technique seemlessly, and if so how do i set the bmp for different section as such?

    HOW ABOUT CHANGING TEMP OF ONE TRACK, ONE FUCKING MIDI TRACK!!

  • @thefivepoints
    @thefivepoints ปีที่แล้ว

    But people have told me this creates 'audio artefacts' how do you do this without creating artefacts?

    • @AMACULENTMINDSET
      @AMACULENTMINDSET  ปีที่แล้ว

      You record it in the right tempo or use midi lol
      If it’s not a huge change there won’t be artifacts
