It's really great, but the balance feels all over the place (to be fair, in all DS3 mods), and the game feels less rewarding. Somehow I enjoy playing vanilla more. I feel no achievement beating the mod.
@@stanislavkimov2779 i feel this may also just be a core issue with souls 3 in general, which honestly just has some .. questionable balance in general (featuring by far the worst pvp experience of the franchise).
@@bugfriendz my biggest problem is slow player characters while enemies are fast, and easily getting stunlocked with any fast attack, because no poise. Playing vanilla DS3 I swear and rage a lot, exactly because of thee things, always. While for example playing Cinders, I have 0 of it, cause there's poise there and I can take less damage wearing heavy armor. I was recently playing through Lotric Castle, and hollows there can kill you in 3 hits, while you can easily get stunlocked by a mob. Mob of fast enemies, while your controls are slow and have delays, so you can't always react to attacks that are thrown very fast at you. It's infuriating, it will never be fun. If enemies are fast, I want to be fast as in BB/Sekiro. And I want NEVER to have control taken from me (stunlocks, grabs, knockdowns with slow recovery). Maybe in rare cases, but really rare. So on 1 hand DS3 sold well, is widely loved and has the most mods, on other it makes everyone mad. There's a lot good and bad in this game. A strange mix.
So much of this mod makes me feel so just.....child-like wonder and joy in a sense? It's really nice getting to see that I'm not the only one who gets wildly excited at everything that has been added, changed, adjust, etc. I greatly look forward to seeing more of the two of you enjoying your time with this mod!
I hope you do another video on this mod! It was really fun seeing you react to it. I played through the various evolutions of Cinders and it has come a long way. I will always remember my rolling build, using the unique roll damage rings they put in with thorns armor!

Huh, only played The Convergence mod for DS3 since it is the Biggest/Major mod for it, didn't knew Cinders Mod actually had good shit in it, thought it was just a generic "Everything Harder" mod. This mod looks ALMOST as good as Convergence tbh, seems to have a bunch of things that it also has.
Imma be buck with y’all, you ought to try the Convergence mod as well. Its kinda a more curated version of the Cinders mod, much tighter layout of encounters, items w/ more fun function, and very cool unique bosses
Something to note about the Censuring Palm, the one you though had Andres moveset. It said in it's description that the weapon changes based off the Affinity of infusion you have it set to. Does that mean if you were to give it Bleed it would turn into a Dagger? Or would it stay as a fist.

If you get a chance, you should definitely try either the Elden Ring or Dark Souls 3 Convergence mod. the Elden Ring version is still in development, but both have such an INSANE amount of magic and 'schools' for spells. And there's plenty of room for big dumb bonk builds, too
