Adam, I Cannot stop repeating that you have an incredible teaching method and very clear pronunciation which is pretty understandable for International apprentices. Thanks again for lessons, we are all appreciate it
Hello Adam, you are among the very best English teachers I have ever known. I enjoy your lessons and also have a pleasure using all the knowledge I gain from your videos. There is also another thing I wanted to tell you; one reason that I truly love your teaching is that you always remind me my father who passed away and left the world when I was only 3 years old. The first time I found your channel and watched your video I couldn't stop crying. Now I'm glad to have found you. I hope you always be happy and well with your beloved ones. Thanks very much for all great job you do. 🌹🙏
Hi Adam, if possible, please also explain the difference between "in which and where" "at/on which and when" in your upcoming videos. Is it correct to say: "The book where she discusses..." instead of "The book in which she discusses... "?
- the book where she discusses = there's a specific book WHERE we're talking about something and we mention that something in the whole book. - the book in which she discusses = there's a specific book IN WHICH we're talking about something in a specidic part of the book. - Well that's the way I see it. I would say that both sentences convey the same idea, that's to say they're synonyms.
This is a syntactic construction that I use frequently, especially in my native language, so I'm glad you proposed it as an alternative to more conventional sentences. The test was very challenging indeed. Thank you!
You are my favourite English teacher and that lovely way of teaching is really impressive ❤️ such a simple and attractive way. Really thanks for making these videos. God bless you...
wow this is really very informative video thank you for your work I am learning English and I am glad that I understand what you are talking about without translating words (when you show or give examples) thanks you so much
I feel elated because with this video i have finished all the grammar about clauses i have studied adjective ,noun, adverb clauses ,infinitive clauses and today this is the last topic of clauses thanks you Adam 😅
Hi Adam .Great work ,Keep going. I have been into Etymology of English words.Interestingly many of English words evolved from Tamil words.Just sharing a few. "Ari Mathipu" became Arithmetic. "Ari"(அறி) mean Know and "Mathipu" (மதிப்பு) mean Value.Arithmetic mean Know Value. "Pala" became Plus > Ply > Poly. Pala(பல) mean Many. "Maga Mathipu" became Mathematic Mathematic mean Great/Big Value. Maga(மகா) mean Great/ Big > Mega Etu(ஏத்து) Mathipu(மதிப்பு) became Estimate. Etu mean Increase and Mathipu mean Value. Estimate mean Increase Value. The word "Value" is from "Vilai" Vilai(விலை) mean Value. Kal kulaithal(கல் குழைத்தல் ) became Calculate . Kal(கல்) mean Pebble and Kulaitjal is Mix. Calculate mean Counting of Mixed Pebbles. Di Vedu became Divide . Di mean two and Veddu mean Chop/ Cut. Divide mean Cut into 2.
For we readily understand your lessons, we wish you explained some demonstratives information about syntax, which has some interchangeable (nested) lessons. Thank you, Mr. Adam.
Interessante. Isso também há em português. Chamamos de "oração subordinada adjetiva". Ela começa com um pronome relativo, em frente ao qual (aqui já ocorre isso) pode haver preposição.
Hi Adam! Is the following sentence correct? There might be some situations, in which reception staffs might deal with customers who have not outgoing personality and angry customers, in which reception staff forego up-selling.
- Hi Adam, I have a question. - What if i use : The book WHICH she discusses her long career, is a real eye-opener => Does the meaning of this sentence have any difference compared with your original sentence in the lesson? Thank you for answering .
Can anyone please explain ?! In the sentence "The book, in which she discusses her long career, is a real eye-opener" why do we need commas? Isn't that a defining clause?
I also can't understand why that adjective clause is not classified as a defining (identifying) clause. In my opinion, "The book" without that clause doesn't sound specific enough.
Dear sir The part of the sentence enclosed between commas, can be removed and still the remaining independent clause will render the full meaning. The adjective clause can also be made into a new sentence suitably.
Hi Adam, first of all, I want to thank you because of these extremely useful lessons, especially Ielts ones. However, I have a problem, which I want to consult you about. I am currently preparing Ielts and my reading results are mostly between 35 and 30 which is good for me. But sometimes I can't even make 10 correct answers. It depends on how much I understand the questions If I understand I can do good, If not I can't. What should I do please help me. My exam is on 7th July.
It is quite difficult to use. For me, I would say, "The most rememberable role of her is Princess Leia". It is more straight forward and easier understand.

Adam, as usual another excellent lesson. By the way.... you look great in that blue tshirt....
Sir, you have used comma in defining relative clause, is it correct ?
Thank you so much 😊
For we readily understand your lessons, we wish you explained some demonstratives information about syntax, which has some interchangeable (nested) lessons. Thank you, Mr. Adam.
Sir you teach well.
Thanks 👍.
Hi Adam, I love your videos!! Do you have a video about reduced adjective clauses?

Sir, could you please make a video about the mixing of tenses?
Super! Danke!
Hi Adam!
Is the following sentence correct?
There might be some situations, in which reception staffs might deal with customers who have not
outgoing personality and angry customers, in which reception staff forego up-selling.
Sir can you please teach us about tense. Means use of tense 🙏 please.
- Hi Adam, I have a question.
- What if i use : The book WHICH she discusses her long career, is a real eye-opener
=> Does the meaning of this sentence have any difference compared with your original sentence in the lesson? Thank you for answering .
Can you explain them with more examples, please?
where do i get the quiz for this lesson?
Can anyone please explain ?! In the sentence "The book, in which she discusses her long career, is a real eye-opener" why do we need commas? Isn't that a defining clause?
In other video there was a sentence "The man who lives next door is a doctor". No commas.. Aren't these sentences similar?
I also can't understand why that adjective clause is not classified as a defining (identifying) clause. In my opinion, "The book" without that clause doesn't sound specific enough.
Can you please tell me why you use commas before and after the subordinate clauses? Can these sentences be treated as complex ones ?
Dear sir
The part of the sentence enclosed between commas, can be removed and still the remaining independent clause will render the full meaning. The adjective clause can also be made into a new sentence suitably.
we use comma in a non defining relative clause

Is that "as" needed before Princess Leia? Please clarify. Thanks.
Why not as as a preposition needed nouns coming after to be call prepositional phrase acting as an adverb modifying is

It is quite difficult to use. For me, I would say, "The most rememberable role of her is Princess Leia". It is more straight forward and easier understand.
What is the best english word book name sir please?
Gap yo
Prepositions need an object after them; however, sentences can end in a preposition. "What are looking for?"
This class is quite giving me a hard time.
