Well Im excited! The gijoe joe team did wonders a sdcc with repaints and new figs and Im just a glutton for something new! Lenny or venny did say that the dredknocks glasses would be removable ( hope I spelled those right ) so yeah! And to your guesstimation on the jeep vamp or what is it called....?? I do hope it is $50 - $80 because I will pick up a few of them needless to say! Anyways nice video recap and Im just happy to see new stuff✨✨✨✨
I'm losing my mind waiting fir these figs and vehicles. I've got the hiss, dragonfly, and trouble bubble ordered and I have to get these ones too. I'm absolutely in love with the classified line and how hreat the face sculpts are. The girls are actually pretty which is cool.
Nice GI Joe reveals, thanks Tydirium Hanger! Junkyard looks cool with Mutt. That's nice they had the MASK set up. A new MASK line of figures would be cool, though creating the vehicles would be something else. Thanks.
M.A.S.K. would be a nice fit to the collection. I did like the majority of the figures they showed and putting vehicles at retail is a win. This year has been a good year for the Joe team imo. The only negative I have is with the exclusives. Some of them (Eels and possibly Chuckles) are a chore to try and get, but ......patience = plastic.
@@tydiriumhanger1320 you’re allowed to purchase all the SDCC 2023 Hasbro figures. So basically Joe, Marvel Legends and Tranformers. The limit on each of those brands were two per customer. People are speculating if you are a pulse member you will be able to get some Chuckles an hour before they go up for general public, plus your limit will be reset and some think it will go as high as another 2-5 per person. I don’t know though. My guess is if I got two I will only be able to get another three. We will see though.

I actually like the gray hair on general Hawk, because it kinda shows experience. He shouldn’t look as old as Duke. I will get him. Helix looks so awesome. She’s a very unique character. I’ll definitely get her.
Xamot's scar is still on the wrong cheek and we still have to headswap the twins to get them in the right uniforms. Not that I was expecting them to fix anything but Hasbro's lack of attention to detail continues to annoy me.
I just wanted to say that I know absolutely nothing about Tripwire as a character but I'm in love with the figure in Classified. You see this is a character, much like a lot of 1982-1984 characters, I don't really care that much for. So they turned Tripwire into some little basic bitch with just a grey vest and helmet on a green suit into someone just with a full on EOD blast suit and EOD robot? Sign me the hell up! He's basically everything he SHOULD be. EOD on top of minesweeping makes sense in a modernized Classified frame of mind. That's why I want him. How many figures do you know of that are just straight up EOD guys with blast suits? Not many, few and far between! That's why this guy excites me so much. You're just not gonna get an EOD guy from anyone else. Not even Valaverse is doing an EOD guy.

I still don’t see the high demand to buy the retro Joes again in 6 in. I think over the decades people have collected them in their original uniforms so many times already and they have this already in the ultimate super 7 lines for Duke already with Scarlett to come in Nov. yes they’re more expensive a line and less on the articulation side but I feel that fans of the Joes in their original incarnations will purchase them in the ultimates super 7 lines regardless of the prices.
Lots of cool reveals. Some are easy passes though or clearance purchases. Sticking to the main guys I liked from the first 50 issues of the Marvel comic.
With all these crimson colors, I wonder if syndicate collectibles could put a rush on their DD2 boss, willy. I could see destro, baroness, or the twins trying to cut a deal with him. His final stage even seems like a fortress the joes would try to break into.
@tydiriumhanger1320 besides the statue, there were 3 articulated figures for double dragon. They were on the other side of the JCVD & Bolo bloodsport figs. Apparently, the guy behind the company had some ties (perhaps a sculptor?) to the SOTA lines, that did things like street fighter, years ago.
I agree, tripwire should only come with a mine detector, mines and a backpack. The web gear could've been molded in like original, he looks way different than the og. He doesn't need all that stuff although I get it, there are rats to find the mines and a drone to detonate them, it's a real thing I saw a documentary type thing on. I think I may wait on the fire team clearance as well, notice they haven't sold out and the viper three packs sold out several times and still ended up on clearance. Also love the crimson strike except for the red silencer on a gold gun, looks goofy imo. I love the vamp because it and clutch was my first GI Joe on my 5th bday, but the team crushed it and it looks like I'm going to have to stop collecting other lines to get all these since it's my main line, but I must have rogue and bishop from the X-Men 97 line, that line looks great but I have 4 wolverines, storm, magneto and Gambit.

I called the Serpentor for $80 and they need to move a lot of these at retail so they will make more. Look how simple Clutch is compared to Serpentor and the packaging will be dumbed down plus Emily made several references to how they could get the price down. I could be wrong because my wife keeps a list of when I was wrong in the past LOL
Was it a good SDCC? It was midlevel SDCC at best. There's not a lot of info because there isn't very many toylines. Was there anything about 1/12 Fortnite? No news for 1/18 Marvel, DC, nor GI Joe. They put old MASK figures on display, but no announcement about a new MASK line. I suppose folks are impressed because they got used to nothing during covid, but compared to 10 years ago this show would have been a huge disappointment.

The Vamp is great because it can be made in to the Vamp mark II with the doors and the rocket launcher the Cobra Stinger with the doors.
I bought serpentor and a few ultimates but I’m more interested in the reaction just for the sake of saving space.
