Daniel Torres It is confirmed Bowser’s the strongest character. Stronger than Mario. He mainly loses due to trapping himself or an unexpected ally of Mario and friends, but he’s learning. He’s 9 times the strength of Mario, who is already super human. He is super tough, no explanation needed, and ruthless; beastly! In the 2d games, everyone’s pretty much the same strength as Mario. Oh yeah, Rosalina from 3D World. I named 9 characters, which would equal his strength. However, only Yoshi is faster than Bowser, and Bowser remains way tougher than them.

Love the way it keeps track of the two different characters in a unique yet easy to follow action. Didn't get lost or have to pause once yet still kept track of what each one was doing, even during the boss fight!

I absolutely loved the ending, the way that Sonic and Mario lost at the same time because of an accident, it shows that the creator of this, was fair and didn't favor one character over the other.
But we all Know Sonic win in all the cases.

This whole animation was cool and all, but I just need to know: Was it intentional or not that the water turns into hollow squares every few frames? It's very distracting.
I’m pretty sure they intended to do that, and wanted to make a movement for the water.
It hurts my eyes a lot aswell

It's just meant to be a fun animation it doesn't matter who wins
Sonic runs fast on mostly straight paths or slight turn there are very sharp turns that I doubt sonic could perform while going at the speed of sound
I love it how they’re racing and trying to slow each other down but at the same time they’re working together to get through tough situations. I love that!
With headphones, the music is coming out of one side, while the sounds and stuff come out the other

I noticed that the sprite of Tails is from Tails' Adventure for the Sega Game Gear.
This is the kind of game Nintendo and Sega should team up to make. I know Mario and Sonic have had many Olympic games, but they need to make an outright adventure game where Mario and Sonic team up to stop Dr. Eggman and Bowser.
That would be awesome! Although I doubt it would happen.

I think this is the first animation that involved the new sprites. (Dream team and onward.) It's refreshing!

Sega and Nintendo fans have been at each other who knows how long, seeing as how they think either Mario or Sonic is better, and it's so overrated.

I really like this. It shows that of course they’re rivals and want to be better than one another but at the end of the day they pushed eachother and worked together to get to where they are now and that in the end there’s really no true winner.

Cool idea, but it needs some work, it’s really hard to follow for a majority of the video, they move too fast and leave the screen too much, also, Sonic and Mario go from racing to straight up fighting and they team up to fight things, it’s just very inconsistent, but something like this could definitely work and can’t wait to see this again with some more polish

Nah- Sonic is faster and I know how everyone’s gonna say so- but he also leant forward while running, which can result in the direction of his weight being contributed to. If they truly did get a tie and required a photo finish, Sonic’s pointy nose got him to win lol

Plasmariel it hasn’t been officially confirmed, the best i can literally say is faster than the speed of sound, as SEGA only confirmed that. It’s clear that he can easily beat Mario in a race 👏🗿
@@T_Masster No need to confirmation, Shigeru Miyamoto know how fast his character is. And he stated that the Olympics will be a way to finally see who's faster. Mario achieved speed much, much greater than the speed of light.

The coins flying to the screen is a nice touch! Makes the isometric view feel like a 3d space!! And on that note, opting to use Segasonic and mario and luigi sprites makes this animation so unique omg

I legit like this video. It’s a race that tests Sonic’s superior speed and and Mario’s strength and athleticism and ends with both working together to cross the finish.....only for Ray and Mighty to f*** it up! XD

I love how you were able to utilize Sega Sonic the Hedgehog Sprites. He doesn’t have that many unique animations in that game.
The last time I saw something this fast that I needed to stop it multiple times to fully appreciate it, but that was cool regardless was the Momoshiki fight of the Boruto anime.
Great job making it a tie so the people that actually take this matchup sensitively won't be angry. That being said, this video would get like ten thousand comments if you didn't make it a tie. It was a great animation.
