I suspect, however, that youtube must be throttling your subscriber numbers. The idea that you can produce a series of this quality (your videos, not the flippin’ awful ’Rings of Power’) and it only pick up an extra one or two thousand subscriberw over the past month is not believable. Dark forces are indeed at play.
I do think using The Horn of Gondor as a cereal bowl is disrespectful.

Tom's diet of anchovies dipped in jams and jellys is kind of nauseating really.
But actually probably tastier than you think. I mean, salted caramel is sweet and savoury too. Seriously, trifecta of flavours. Sweet, savoury, fat. Oil, the fish and the jam. Salted caramel? The butter, sugar and salt. Next time you have a tasty meal see if you can spot it.

Plus all the other commentary channels tearing this thing apart- it's hilarious to hear them go on about it. This is the best one though. And sadly, the same goes for Star Wars. It makes my kinda want to cry that my two favorite franchises have been so utterly decimated, but I see the bright side in things like this, so- the shows must go on!
Channels like this get a screener like a week or so ahead of broadcast. I know Screencrush does. I'm guessing Charlie does too. That way, they can produce content like this while the iron is still hot, so to speak.

It's difficult to parody Rings of Power because it's already a parody of itself. This is as good as it gets though. I don't know why the staff is important. Gandalf went through a lot of them. He had at least two broken in Lord of the Rings and at least one in The Hobbit. He ended up with a loaner from the Radagast. The power is in the wizard and the staff is just a focus. I think any old stick will do. You could probably use a pencil.
Let's face it, at the end of the Balrog fight he uses Glamdring as a staff, to channel lightning.
The staff stuff is plain filler plot 😁.
These guys from RoP really need to go to Ollivander's as fast as possible 😅.

Charlie, you are cranked to 11 on this, just keeps getting better. No one can ever accuse the ROP of being...Uninspiring, that's for sure.
I really enjoyed the scene with Tom Bombadil and Gandalf over the forest of sticks. It was a nice change of pace. Instead of badly mirroring better scenes from the Lord of the Rings films, the series badly mirrored a scene from the Empire Strikes Back. Next episode: Gandalf runs off to not-Cloud City to rescue his friends from a masked warrior servant of a dark wizard that bears no resemblance to a Sith lord.
Slightly larger than usual bats? Those were the freaking Kaiju of bats.

I think your Tom Bombadill is now my favorite Character on this channel. I really want to see him make an appearance in one of your Star Wars bits- and be on for the whole thing. Tom is lying on purpose. Roderick has to choose his own path for himself in order to move forward.
i love the skit cause it shows how rubbish ROP is, the wizards didnt come down like comets for one thing they came all together on a boat from the undying lands [valinor] and they werent learning how to be powerful, they were already powerful but the valar restricted their original powers otherwise they would probably hurt alot of people. Side note: gandalf didnt trust tom bombadil in the books
Where does it say he didn't trust Bombadil in the books? He just says that it would be unwise to try to give him the ring. Not because he's dishonest or evil, just because he is entirely above what he sees as trivial and temporary matters like the ring and Middle Earth. He would just forget it or lose it, not like he would try to steal it for himself or hand it over to Sauron. "Not trusting him" implies that he is a villain or something. Gandalf just recognizes that he would not be a safe keeper for the ring, and probably wouldn't even accept it. It never implies there is anything evil or remotely dishonest about Bombadil.

I like how everything about his behavior is totally accurate to canon, and true to how he is described in the book.
