Great information on loaming, I've thought that the gpx 6000 may provide a small degree of 'electronic loaming' due to its ability to find small/shallow gold and trace it back to a lode but I still feel that Panning is more accurate in identifying gold direction because a loaming 'trench' would be dug down through the layers in search of the bedrock or base whereas the detector has limited depth. I'll keep on digging in any case..
