Ive got a couple stories from Redcastle area... me and my Brother spent 8 weeks living in the old telegraph hut at Redcastle in the mid 80's... we would hear footsteps in and out of the hut most nights and things would vanish and reappear at random times. Voices would come thru your headphones when detecting in the area. Also, there's a patch East of the 14 mile known as 'Wild Dog Flats'. There's a story about the ghost of a big dog that haunts the area and lies on top of sleeping campers, almost suffocating them. Ive spoken to 2 people who have experienced it first hand.

What's funny is that the summer you were there I was driving past y'all twice a week doing my weekly prospecting. The funny part is that I don't recall people living in the woods in that area.
