I immediately liked the deck until you got to the pentacles…Then I fell in love with it! I like the creators perspective; how she fills half the card with the ground level and half the card is the sky in the background. This deck makes me feel like I’m lost and wandering down an endless road. I love it!
"Soviet art house film" 😂 Accurate. ::::: It does give a quiet vibe. Quiet and expansive. On the face of it, it's not the kind of tarot I'd be attracted to, but the "dream landscape" quality is appealing.
I don’t think the cards are too similar. I just ordered it and I’m excited about it. It reminds me of winter in Saskatchewan on a grey day while perhaps dealing with depression, which is a situation I’ve experienced, so it feels bizarrely relatable. I like the open skies. It’s just such a unique deck. I’ve never seen anything like it.
Bought this deck after seeing it on Fairlight Tarot’s channel it just reminded me of Francis Bacon’s work so much, really love it just so unique & absolutely ❤ the Pentacles in this deck as well particularly & the creator was so sweet with me too, it pairs really well with the Tyldwick Tarot as well for me, definitely thinking about getting the Death Doula Oracle as well finally to go with it, I wonder how the Bohemian Gothic Tarot will go with it?.
I would read the images first just as the are and the story they tell with the character based on the questions and also intuition/ what I’m feeling in my body from the cards and then look at the titles and bring in what I know how those meanings

Interesting and painterly deck. I think pairing with another deck would break up the strong horizon line which connects the cards when read in line.
