When i first heard him I thought he was a one trick pony cus his beats like Euro Step, Frank Murphy, Michael Irving etc sound similar cus they got that distortion over the sample. @@BSideRapReviews The weird sound you know Conductor from comes from the SP-sampler he uses. The wobble effect and the grainy effect that he tends to use both come from this sampler. Stove is an official Griselda member now. Hopefully the next Griselda project is Stove! Seems like he really works well with West, so a Stove album with West as executive producer would probably be fire!

Haha ay the only person who trippin is Gunn and Flygod Jr for making tha trash lmaoo. I maybe shoulda elaborated more but I'm not even hating the fact that he used a rap beat - its just the fact that the beat itself is awful. I rock with several trap rappers like Carti, Travis scott, Nudy (well...he fell off but you get the point). This beat here just had the generic hi hat and snare that come stock on garage band, plus the worse piano chord that sound like something I used to make on FL studios back in high school lmaoooo.
For some reason I disliked this album a lot on first listen, but it really grew on me. Some great cuts on there! Conductor for real kills it on the production. He is cementing himself as a legendary producer. I happened to use the God Is Love sample a week or two before this album dropped so I can tell you it's just one sample, but the way he flipped it is pretty crazy.
This album kinda highlighted how important a good opener is for the album. Idk if this is reason you disliked it at first, but I feel like Flygod Jr digs a huge hole for the album and can kinda affect how you listen to the rest of the album. I was watching some of my fav reaction channels and you can feel the energy change on it lmao. Even myself, I was way less tolerant of BS than I normally woulda been lol! But year man the highlights are dope - thats why I rock with the album. Conductor is having a crazy year. Between this and Rome Streetz projects - he has some of my fav beats of the year. WSG has been teasing the Michelle Records project with all those beautiful soul loops, a whole lot of Sadhu instrumentals apparently. Then it was said that Michelle was dropping halloween. Then it was suddenly HWH10. And then it seems to not have any of the teased Michelle stuff. I get the impression that HWH10 wasn't really planned at all, and that he realized the timing for it was good and decided to just grab a bunch of stuff from the stash and put it on there. It has some great tracks for sure, but it does seem to not really have a vision or any bigger concept. My flip of the God Is Love sample is stashed lmao, especially after hearing Conductor's version... I post stuff on my IG tho: beatsbyshwish. i’m liking this album a lot. i like the reserved production on flygod jr it’s nice letting us just hear them rap without the beat doing backflips. also i love doe boy idc. westside gunn has improved as a rapper a lot and this album shows it well. i don’t think anyone in griselda has dropped a bad album since i got into griselda with westside gunns pray for paris. yeah this whole album is cool and i honestly think mommy least favorite is red death cause it’s just too long for me after listening to the whole album. my favorite is shootouts in soho cause i’m a big stovegod fan and his verse on that is my favorite on the album+ it has rocky. great album as always

Boldy James was missing from this album in my opinion! He could’ve brought the tracks that were my least favorite become my most favorite! But, maybe I’m biased as fuck cuz I think Boldy is a top tier rapper he just needs to only develop a few more flows and he perfect as a MC! Also Mac Don’t Stop and Super Kick Party had phenomenal production. Red Death was a complete missed opportunity to just include all the grimy Griselda boys on one track. That synth chord progression sounds like something someone who never made a beat before would come up with in like 30 secs. Then the drum pattern literally the most generic pattern you can create and the drums themselves sound like the drums that come stock on any beat making software 😂 I got a newborn and my wife be playing him these rap songs for kids that teach them they ABCs and what not….I swear the beats on there go harder than this 😭😭😭

This one was very underwhelming for me. With seeing the track-list and this being allegedly the finale to a dope series, perhaps I came in with expectations too high. I’ve given it 3 listens so far but it just sounds mediocre to me. Some of the features definitely delivered but I feel there’s just as many let downs (if not more).
Up and down album FOR SURE! I honestly didn’t go into this with too high expectations because when he delayed Michelle and dropped this instead i honestly thought it’s another one of those projects he did in a couple days. I will say the features did look crazy but the ones I thought would do great did. Only one that disappointed to me was Benny. This is about a 7.5/10 to me which is pretty middle of the road for Gunn
I think it's alright. HvH8 was just so amazing it set the standards high. My expectations were lowered by Peace FlyGod, which in my opinion was similarly mediocre. Still immaculate samples and some solid tracks tho as usual, wsg one of the best out even when he's not in peak form imo.

1. A great beat to rap on was wasted for the Rashid (RZA produced the track) 2. Flygod Jr is very bad lyrically and the beat was very simplistic too. 😳 3. Super Kick Party is a good track and nothing more. 4. Shootouts In Soho was decent but not great. The beat was good and the verses were acceptable. Rocky's flow was very good 5. Peppas was very good. I wish Talib's verse was more structured and focused. 6. Nigo Louis was akward with all that Pootie talk and WSG verse was too slow for me. 7. BDP had some of my favourite verses on the entire project from all 3 8. Science Class was a very good pose cut with Ghostface and Rae shining! 9. God Is Love needed a WSG verse! 10. Switches On Everything was remarkable only for El-P verse 11. Mac Don't Stop is just pure chaos! Great rapping from WSG 12. Red Death was a sleeper. Half of the verses was bad. My least favourite track. Conclusion: Stove God Cooks features are bloated on Westside Gunn's projects when are a lot of them. 1 or 2 are fine. 10 is not even in top 3 HWH series for me. The last track is boring. I always skip the longest tracks on Westside's projects. He rapped like 4 bars on it. I hate when WSG curated a song without even rapping on it. This is lazy. Ostertag is probably one of my favourite Griselda songs ever and I hate that he isn't on the track. 10 had good features and mediocre to good rapping from WSG. The beats were good but the intro and outro drag too much. I need to hear better beats from Conductor cause he sounds too much like Alchemist. 7.5/10 (6/12 good songs).
Nahhh this review is TUFFFF 🔥🔥🔥 Personally I love superkick party but I mean you’re spot on bout everything. Gunn be using Stove like a designated hitter in basketball. It honestly feels like he just uses him as a replacement for his own verse. I’d be fine with it if the quality of his verses didn’t fall off. I will say though - there’s so many rappers in Griselda that idk why he doesn’t just spread the wealth like he did on HWH8 side b. And 7.5 seems pretty spot on to me.
This album is heat but FlyGod Jr was just straight trash. Remove a couple of the missteps on the album and this could of been the best Griselda album this year.

That chorus is rock vocals - I like experimental stuff and genre bending stuff so I honestly ain’t mind it…but it regardless it only took up a small fraction of the song that I think it’s much bigger issues like that Jay Worthy verse and the fact that the song longer than a Quentin Tarantino movie 😂

@@spartanv4335 late to this but I liked it, almost had a wrestling feel to it. If anything, Boldy should have taken Jay's spot, he'd spit a much better verse. Stove could have continued rapping a little bit on the chants, the "Louis Vuitton moccasins" doesn't feel like a climactic end to his verse. I wish there wasn't an entire 4 bars of silence between Armani's entrance into Rome's verse and her actual verse, she had a lot of momentum and her verse would have definitely kept it up. And then Benny just needed to go back in the booth, one of his weakest verses on what's supposed to be up to this point, the ultimate Griselda song (w/ Alc prod even). Besides that, WSG was good, Stove was good, Armani actually pulled through really well (even if I wish she had more bars), Conway was on fire, and Rome left earth completely. The high points of Red Death are some of the best hip-hop moments ever, but the low points taint it so much and give it no replayability unless I want to skip verses.

For some reason I disliked this album a lot on first listen, but it really grew on me. Some great cuts on there! Conductor for real kills it on the production. He is cementing himself as a legendary producer. I happened to use the God Is Love sample a week or two before this album dropped so I can tell you it's just one sample, but the way he flipped it is pretty crazy.
This album kinda highlighted how important a good opener is for the album. Idk if this is reason you disliked it at first, but I feel like Flygod Jr digs a huge hole for the album and can kinda affect how you listen to the rest of the album. I was watching some of my fav reaction channels and you can feel the energy change on it lmao. Even myself, I was way less tolerant of BS than I normally woulda been lol!
But year man the highlights are dope - thats why I rock with the album. Conductor is having a crazy year. Between this and Rome Streetz projects - he has some of my fav beats of the year.

Anyways, the thing that put me off HWH10 is probably due to my confusion about what to expect. WSG has been teasing the Michelle Records project with all those beautiful soul loops, a whole lot of Sadhu instrumentals apparently. Then it was said that Michelle was dropping halloween. Then it was suddenly HWH10. And then it seems to not have any of the teased Michelle stuff. I get the impression that HWH10 wasn't really planned at all, and that he realized the timing for it was good and decided to just grab a bunch of stuff from the stash and put it on there. It has some great tracks for sure, but it does seem to not really have a vision or any bigger concept.
My flip of the God Is Love sample is stashed lmao, especially after hearing Conductor's version... I post stuff on my IG tho: beatsbyshwish. As for the God Is Love sample, you might enjoy listening to the original: I Know You Need Love by The Valentine Brothers

i’m liking this album a lot. i like the reserved production on flygod jr it’s nice letting us just hear them rap without the beat doing backflips. also i love doe boy idc. westside gunn has improved as a rapper a lot and this album shows it well. i don’t think anyone in griselda has dropped a bad album since i got into griselda with westside gunns pray for paris. yeah this whole album is cool and i honestly think mommy least favorite is red death cause it’s just too long for me after listening to the whole album. my favorite is shootouts in soho cause i’m a big stovegod fan and his verse on that is my favorite on the album+ it has rocky. great album as always

@@BSideRapReviews you should. You can hear the growth from the Liz 1, where her rhyming was spotty at best, and some of the production choices were iffy. Much more cohesive project, and shes playing with her melodies more, which sound good over those luxury-sounding Conductor Williams beats.

This one was very underwhelming for me. With seeing the track-list and this being allegedly the finale to a dope series, perhaps I came in with expectations too high. I’ve given it 3 listens so far but it just sounds mediocre to me. Some of the features definitely delivered but I feel there’s just as many let downs (if not more).
Up and down album FOR SURE! I honestly didn’t go into this with too high expectations because when he delayed Michelle and dropped this instead i honestly thought it’s another one of those projects he did in a couple days.
I will say the features did look crazy but the ones I thought would do great did. Only one that disappointed to me was Benny. This is about a 7.5/10 to me which is pretty middle of the road for Gunn
I think it's alright. HvH8 was just so amazing it set the standards high. My expectations were lowered by Peace FlyGod, which in my opinion was similarly mediocre. Still immaculate samples and some solid tracks tho as usual, wsg one of the best out even when he's not in peak form imo.

5. Peppas was very good. I wish Talib's verse was more structured and focused.

12. Red Death was a sleeper. Half of the verses was bad. My least favourite track.
Conclusion: Stove God Cooks features are bloated on Westside Gunn's projects when are a lot of them. 1 or 2 are fine. 10 is not even in top 3 HWH series for me. The last track is boring. I always skip the longest tracks on Westside's projects. He rapped like 4 bars on it. I hate when WSG curated a song without even rapping on it. This is lazy. Ostertag is probably one of my favourite Griselda songs ever and I hate that he isn't on the track. 10 had good features and mediocre to good rapping from WSG. The beats were good but the intro and outro drag too much. I need to hear better beats from Conductor cause he sounds too much like Alchemist. 7.5/10 (6/12 good songs).

Personally I love superkick party but I mean you’re spot on bout everything. Gunn be using Stove like a designated hitter in basketball. It honestly feels like he just uses him as a replacement for his own verse. I’d be fine with it if the quality of his verses didn’t fall off.
I will say though - there’s so many rappers in Griselda that idk why he doesn’t just spread the wealth like he did on HWH8 side b.
And 7.5 seems pretty spot on to me.

This album is heat but FlyGod Jr was just straight trash. Remove a couple of the missteps on the album and this could of been the best Griselda album this year.

Big fact! As the executive producer - Gunn gotta get better at trimming the fat cus i also said the same thing bout the Rome Streetz album that he executive produced (except I think that one still might be best Griselda release despite that)
@@BSideRapReviews Yea for sure. I still think TT4 is best Griselda album from this year. The production was fire and Benny was rapping out of his mind. Plus the features were fire too with J Cole in my opinion having the best feature verse of the year.
Griselda have been amazing this year as they have like 5 projects in my top 15 for this year.

On my AOTY list, they’re not 1, 2, and 3, but I got TT4, the Kiss the ring, then GDMM, in order and high on the list. Then Boldy’s killing nothing only a few spots after it. They having a crazy year

Lmaooo nah not at all- feel same way if not worse lol. WSG flow mighta worked but that beat is just awful. It ain’t even cus it’s a simple trap beat either - I love trap beats- this was just the most basic, cookie cutter trap best imaginable and the drums ain’t even sound good lmaoo.
WSG on a proper trap beat night go hard though. Flygod jr need to be making 5 beats a day for 3 summers like Kanye before he on another Gunn album 😂😂😂

That chorus is rock vocals - I like experimental stuff and genre bending stuff so I honestly ain’t mind it…but it regardless it only took up a small fraction of the song that I think it’s much bigger issues like that Jay Worthy verse and the fact that the song longer than a Quentin Tarantino movie 😂

@@spartanv4335 late to this but I liked it, almost had a wrestling feel to it. If anything, Boldy should have taken Jay's spot, he'd spit a much better verse. Stove could have continued rapping a little bit on the chants, the "Louis Vuitton moccasins" doesn't feel like a climactic end to his verse. I wish there wasn't an entire 4 bars of silence between Armani's entrance into Rome's verse and her actual verse, she had a lot of momentum and her verse would have definitely kept it up. And then Benny just needed to go back in the booth, one of his weakest verses on what's supposed to be up to this point, the ultimate Griselda song (w/ Alc prod even). Besides that, WSG was good, Stove was good, Armani actually pulled through really well (even if I wish she had more bars), Conway was on fire, and Rome left earth completely. The high points of Red Death are some of the best hip-hop moments ever, but the low points taint it so much and give it no replayability unless I want to skip verses.

Lmao bro so many people disappointed with this track. My thing was I honestly didn’t have the highest expectations for this track. RZA one of my fav producers all time because I’m a Wu fan but he hasn’t evolved like say a DJ Muggs has. Honestly this was the best best I heard from this man in forever haha! I was honestly more upset about them wasting the Peace Flygod beat off his last joint 😂
