Hi thank you for the video. Really appreciate you laying out all the details like that. A small video I would like to give is, which supermarkets you use and what time and what kind of deals do you search for. Might help quite a few. Again have a great day ahead :)
Salaries in Japan are pretty low already with tax reduction it's even lower. I'm working as an engineer and my salary total was like 230k per month and i had to pay for my rent which was like 80k yen per month. I'm planning to quit and leave japan for good by next month and go back to Saudi Arabia were salaries are much higher.
I've heard it's pretty tough for us engineers out there. Still planning to work in Japan down the line, for now, certainly getting my experience and stacking up while in the US.
True. You have to stay at a company for many years as your salary increases annually. That being said, I think Japanese people are also realising that they can earn more/better salaries overseas and some are starting to leave Japan.
Hi, please do a video about the activities you went through from the day you arrive in japan to your first day in school. I am interested in the training borderlink offers to its staff
So Happy to see. I'm also from India and I'm planning to move to Japan. Can we connect for a chat? Would love to know more about the process and journey. Take care!
Please reply . While you moved from your country to Japan how much money did you carry ? Did the company provided and helped you with all those Visa and needed documents for moving?
Good day. The video is great. My question is this, are you allowed to work other jobs in your free time?. Looking forward to getting a reply. Thank you
Hii.. I have done masters in English.. As an Indian I don't have foreign accent but have lucidity in speaking.. What will be the step by step procedures to get an ALT job in Japan? And when you are leaving India how much money you should have as your bank balance..? And as an estimation how much time it will take to crack an alt job in Japan. Thank you..
Please kindly answer this question. Is there any case which a person who had not received education in English but able to speak English fluently become an English ALT?
You're getting bilked. I make 3X that teaching in China, and I typically only work around 20 hours a week. Japan is lovely. I worked there for three years; I get the appeal, but it's just not a good deal from any sensible financial point of view.
Thanks for your opinion. I weighed all my options before coming here and I already know what I signed up for when I took this job. The lack of money is compensated by a lot of things that make me happy. :)
@@shivaasaemeow5771 Yeah, I respect that. I get it. I stayed in Japan for three years because I loved the natural beauty, cleanliness and politeness of the people, and the sense of adventure. China is comparatively (much) dirtier and noisier, but I can't say no to the easy schedule and financial compensation, and it's damn sure a lot of fun.
She lives in a city so her average rent would be 40-50K per month and about 20K for utilities which equals to 60-70K. So I think she's in an okay range.
I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOUR VIDEOS SAEMEOW! FINALLY 😍... THANKS FOR THE VIDEO

Yes anirban you can apply for an ALT position as an Indian, you don't need a foreign accent. Hope you have applied?
If we opt for an part-time job in our free time.. will it be included in our tax which will be collected from 2nd year ?
Could you tell me about the visa processing, like how it was like to get a work visa, what we have to submit, when we have to leave
It's a Sponsorship visa....so the ALT company will be your sponor.....Hope you have applied to some companies, you might get lucky.
@@emmanuelbamidele6886 I've but we still need to obtain the Coe
@@ripper3052 yes the CoE is necessary for obtaining the work visa... you have applied?
@@emmanuelbamidele6886 I applied for Heart Corporation. Currently I am in Post-Online training mode. I am waiting for my COE

Hello
What is the pass mark for Progos test? With boaderlink
If your an Indian you would probably get B2 or B1 which is a clear A+ unless your really bad at pronouncing in English accent its impossible to fail.
Hi, is it possible to start working as a freelance ALT after the completion of one-year contract with the recruiting company ? RSVP...
Do you mean direct hire? Yes it's possible but I think the opportunities are limited/not as many as those from dispatch companies.
The cost of living in Japan is a lot
Where in Japan are you?
Please kindly answer this question.
Is there any case which a person who had not received education in English but able to speak English fluently become an English ALT?
One of the main requirements to be an ALT is to have an equivalent of 12 years of English education.
To be on a safe side you can enroll and take the 120 hour TELF/TESOL certification. So that you can have a higher chance of getting the job.
How many hours you do your teaching job?
@@general-study. 7 hours, not including a 1 hour lunch break :)
Can I get an alt job online or do I need to move to Japan beforehand
Hi, you should go online and apply and the company can help you arrange a visa and an apartment in most cases.
Which region are you? I will be in Japan next month!
Hi misses sunflower.. can I know which dispatch company hired you for the job ?
@@mamtakohima I’m with Interac hon

For one person, your rental is too expensive, suggest you move to a cheaper option.
