Hi shivani thank you so much for this video. Could you tell me what you answered for these questions? 1. @6:54 managing problem children 2. @7:28 about the homesickness 3. Do you have any recommendations about regions in japan ( I am not aware of most regions and also yeah I am aware, that I won't get the region but still a bit of help would be appreciated) 4. also if you dont mind telling how much money did you take for the first two months? 5. @10:31 what rhyme did you teach , and how did you answer the second question. Can you use the 3 mi uses of prep time to look on the internet for the answer? Sorry for the long question 😅😂
You should be answering these questions according to what you think :) For the region it really depends on what kind of life you like. Japan is pretty uniform across all cities so any region is good in my opinion but most people like to choose the Kanto/Kansai region because they want to live in Tokyo or Osaka. Living in the heart of the city can be expensive though.
@@shivaasaemeow5771 could you please tell me if we need to maintain a Native accent in the interview or not? Like do they pay attention on how you are pronouncing your *Ws* and *Vs* ? Do we need to sound like a British, Canadian, American, Australian or New Zealander?
@@shivaasaemeow5771 hey, Shivani, needed to ask something. How many days it took for Borderlink's HR representatives to get back to you? I applied yesterday and they sent a confirmation email saying that incase I pass the initial screening, they will contact me again.

Thank you so much for this video? May I ask, during the short Japanese test/conversation, what kind of questions should I expect? I am still learning basic Japanese. Thank you so much!
How long did it take for you to complete and submit the application form after you recieved the it through their confirmation email? Is it okay to take a few days to submit the form?
Hello. Thanks for the video. I want to ask if putting an amount as low as 190000 jpy on the application form can possibly hurt ones chances of getting the job?
Hi!! I'm so glad I stumbled upon your channel because I'm an aspiring alt in Japan and I'm from Northeast India. I actually heard back from Borderlink last week saying I've passed the 1st round but I haven't submitted my application because of two reasons and please help me. 😅 1) How did they contact your references? I have a very less working experience so it's kinda hard for me to ask one. 2) For the proof of 12yrs of English education, what did you use? I tried googling and haven't had any luck!!
Hi, congratulations on getting through round 1! I don't know if they contacted my refs or not tbh. For proof of English education you have to get a bonafide certificate from your school/s from grade 1-12 stating that while you were at the school, the medium of instruction was english

Hey Shivaa, I would like to know that can Borderlink accept new teachers into Japan from September to December or the process is waiting until April 2023?
Please reply . While you moved from your country to Japan how much money did you carry ? Did the company provided and helped you with all those Visa and needed documents for moving?
Did you apply for a visa after getting the job? How long does it take to wait for the job interview results? What subject did you take as a core in College/University? Are there any Indian English teachers other than you? What about your bank? Did you open a new bank account? Did you bring your money in cash? I'm so lost please
The company should usually guide you about the visa process when and if you get in. Your college major has no bearing on if you get in or not, as long as you have a college degree. Yes, there are other Indian English teachers apart from me. Your company will help you open a bank account when you get here, usually a Japan Post bank account. You can bring cash/forex card/credit card. It's up to you as long as you're able to access your money when you get here.
Hello Shivani,is boardlink provide facility for kid's bcoz i have kid she is 2.5 yers old. Or else you know anyone who work having small kid is they provide help please let me know
I don't think any company provides a 'facility' for your child. They will help you move here, and might offer some suggestions but you'd have to navigate the rest on your own.
