@@sarahsan5946She hated her mom for controlling her, like the scene in the closet just before the poisoning. At least, that’s what I would guess. It was just a quick scene, her story with mother isn’t very important. She’s just an evil girl who was influenced my her mother’s own cruelty and faced those consequences with her brother in the end.

To answer your question: She did not die in part one, nor did she ever die because the person who was beheaded was only disguised as the princess.
It is the same story, from the brother/servant’s point of view. It takes place at the same time as the first video because it is the same exact story, just with a different narrator. These videos are not different parts of a continuous story, but one story told twice, with different perspectives. The first part helps portray the jaded, cruel side of the princess and focuses more on the rebellion of the kingdom. The second part explains the backstory of the princess and her servant, focusing on his love for his sister and their moments together just before the rebellion.
If you needed a summary of the story explained: A spoiled princess took advantage of her people through taxes and violence, and they eventually rebelled. Her twin brother, who was living as her faithful servant, loved her dearly despite her cruel personality and sacrificed himself to save her by trading places with her and was beheaded in her stead. She escaped her fate because of her brother and lived the rest of her life in hiding as a humble commoner and became a better person for it.
