Oil leaks on minis seem to be the norm rather than the exception.Really enjoy the videos,much better than the mega money builds.Just going off topic but you havent got an old wing you could measure side indicator position and dimension for me as previous owner put wings on with no holes in.many thanks.
ha, yes rust preventative from factory lol. thanks buddy, I do what I can. I can measure my wings and drop you a comment next time I’m in the garage if that helps
Great video. I need to do mine again . After rebuild all was good then the leak. Have read that the exhaust bracket that connects to gearbox can affect the diff cover/ bolt that can cause it you leak. Anyway I'll change the o ring and fit new gasket and see what happens.
sorry for the late reply. yes the bolt can effect the seal here, particularly if it’s not tight enough or has been undone, released the seal slightly and then struggles to seal up properly. in my case I think it was just a faulty seal, all is well now.
Output flange O ring. I can't find any reference to that part anywhere. Is there one on both sides? Do you have a part number? Only on certain models / ages / years?

Put a magnum skuttle on mine took it off within a week and bought a heritige. Door skins next are magnum as bad as people say as the budget is getting tight now.
thanks for the advice, I think I’m going to go for the heritage, but yes the cost is massive. in terms of the door skins, mine didn’t fit too bad, did a 4 part video on repairing them, but i was happier to do the slight fettling in order to save the extra money that heritage cost in this case, the magnum skins really aren’t too bad.
Anyone know what the name is of the o ring and the gasket for the output flange if that's the right terminology as I can't find nowt under that term cheers
