i just absolutely loved watching the game against LSD it just felt like there was so much joy coming from both sides the entire time. it felt like a game that was just enjoyed from them
Montpellier was an incredible tournament. Great surprises, wonderful points and rallies. The audience gave an unbelievable environment 🎉🏟️🎊🎺🎭📣 ...and Félix with a superlative level 💪💯
I dont think he can even become Timo. He is mentally and strategically more wise than Boll, but the german has the eyes, the tactical awareness and the variations in spin to be a menance for all opponents. I guess for Lebrun the other players have to get used to his style. Its fast paced with a strong bh. Against him maybe even play more to mid or forehand. Once the others get used to his style, lets see if he can stay topnotch...and once he gets older and more slow i dont think with this particular style he will have much success. Like young harimoto was much more dangerous and now he is just a good player but no real threat. Thats all because his game contributed of skills from young players like quickness, good reflexes and didnt developp. Waldner and Boll never relied much on this attributes. They always stayed true to their own style, thus they were pretty successful/ effective even in later steps of their career. Lets see 😅
I believe that he can make it. He’s already beaten lots of Chinese players. I’m Taiwanese, our best player Lin has usually defeated by him. He’s super incredible and only 18 years old. BYW, Ma Long is getting retired. The other Chinese players are not as strong as him, he’s legend.
Oh man, Felix, remarkable! He will be a bright star! His wrist flexibility is adorable. Most of us think with the 40+ balls, the dominant trend is speed, but Felix has proved the opposite! If Felix and Xuxin plays a serious game, that is something to watch. I can only imagine players with all-round style like FZD or ZJK, or someone strategically-superior like ML, or someone with very unique pips-skill could have some advantage dealing with a spin-master opponent like Felix.
Superbe video! Great! Thank you for this awesome job! Felix seems just quicker! He took every opportunity to attack, to accelerate! Crazy! He was walking on the moon during the Montpellier tournament!
I think it helps he has a brother who plays professional level too. Doesn't always happen but it has William sisters vibes to it. Both of them playing each other hard to improve their level from a young age. He also took after a Chinese player living in France with the penhold style.
Congratulations Felix Lebrun and Satsuki Odo, you have changed the rules and didn't let the chinese take the trophees, this was the best tournament ever 🇫🇷🇯🇵 ! And thanks to the audience for encouraging all players to beat the chinese. 🎉 "Ici, Ici, c'est Montpellier !" - Felix Lebrun - 2024 🎉🏓🇫🇷🏆🏆
Golden Era of Chinese table tennis (for men) ended with the exit of Zhang Jike, Xu Xin and soon to be Ma Long from the international circuit. The hunger for winning is shifting slowly on the other side(s) of the Globe.

Alexis champ of Europe and Felix WTT champ beating top Chinese players in form in a single week. WTT needs to make all matches from round of 32 forward best 4 out of 7 though. 30 min matches are a joke
Ahhh.... don't get ahead of yourself. 3 chinese? No...... 2 chinese 40%. 1 chinese, yes, I give him 60% chance. But no doubt, he had an awesome, AWESOME tournament.

Proficiat Felix Lebrun 🙌🏻👍🏻❤️
Thank you for teaching those Chinese players not to forget the 'Chinese' penhold grip 👍🏻🤭
Can not belive how well Felix played. He gave everything back, stayed close to the table. Just to fast for the others
It's dream come true to win in hometown
Congrats Felix keep it up❤❤💪💪🔥🔥
What a godlike performance. That too being so close to table almost every time. crazy…

I think he would surpass timo one day. The real question is can he become the “waldner”, the real threat to Chinese top players.
He will never become waldner as he is penholder
He has the potential, wait and see
I dont think Felix will be the new Gatien

Felix and Lin will be the future top tier match up. I'm so looking forward to see that😁😁😁
j'en pleure de joie, merci FéFé❤
Incredible tribute, very well done !
His brother Alexis will never be able to overtake him in the world rankings! No one can stop him from reaching the world number one spot anymore.
How he can be so fast like that?? For player with pen hold grip, his backhand so controlled and accurate..
This boy have Amazing Speed.
I think it helps he has a brother who plays professional level too. Doesn't always happen but it has William sisters vibes to it. Both of them playing each other hard to improve their level from a young age. He also took after a Chinese player living in France with the penhold style.
Felix His straight forehand and backhand abilities far exceed Wang Hao's!
@@Bootleg-KingWH is stronger away from the table. FL has a better close table fast rally with consistent high quality swings
Felix is quick, powerful, accurate, almost perfect chinese penhold grip backhand.. unbelievable performance
Wang Hao would be proud 😂👍👍👍
felix took it to the next level... perfection
Great compilation! Thank you for making this video!
Felix Lebrun shows RPB players around the world the new way to use RPB, different from Chinese players - Xu xin, Wáng Hào.
Wang Haos RPB was more of a frisbee throw.
Congratulations Felix❤😂🎉

"Ici, Ici, c'est Montpellier !" - Felix Lebrun - 2024 🎉🏓🇫🇷🏆🏆
il est maintenant dans la 5ème dimension !
Watching a European beat China and Japan with penhold grip never gets Old
Nice job Felix!
He is so fast...lim shi dong cannot catch up his speed

Guess another goat is hard to find even in China.
Felix is future no 1 in the world. Penhold style will stay in table tennis, thanks to Felix (& Wang hao)
And Ryu Seung Min:)
Love the talent of this 2 young brothers 👍

No. Just a quick vision
I think it's the play style where they stay close to the table that is throwing everyone off
Fast, strong, exactly - I like Felix'sway to playing
Pâté pour chat FELIX ! Un bon pâté pour un chat fantastique !

He is so fast
He can beat chinese
No doubt
If that were the case I think he would be number 1 by far.
Nice video compilation
All his opponents received a technical knockout.
bring back the magic of penholder. FL's BH is probably the best in the world. He proved it by easily beating Lin Shidong and Harimoto.

Where were Ma Long and Wang Linqin?
One, enjoying time with family (ML) The other studying Felix.

If Ma long, Wang Chuqin, Fan Zhendong played in Mont pellier, Felix Lebrun would have beaten them all.
Ahhh.... don't get ahead of yourself. 3 chinese? No...... 2 chinese 40%. 1 chinese, yes, I give him 60% chance. But no doubt, he had an awesome, AWESOME tournament.
