Replay says it all otherwise I couldn't have picked them up. Call these so newbies would understand and follow to join the sport.
This is all the more important as the sport relies heavily on spin, and unless one has played in competition, they probably don't understand what's really going on as most pros now use sticky rubbers that generate a tremendous amount of spin, at least a lot more than a 10 year old rubber used to play in camping.
21:11 flew off due to the underspin on the ball not the side spin. If underspin is the issue the ball goes into the net which is what happened. Truls might of added some side spin but it's mostly underspin. 20:51 is side spin.

The problem is not that it's not high enough. But it's not vertical. Due to the fact that it's not very high. But in terms of height it was in the rules. In terms of verticality, the rule is uncomplete. This is why it leads to frustrating situations like that.

I think Truls is still far from what Waldner was and the talent he had, but Truls plays very well and is a unique player. He is my favorite player and I like to see him reach goals and beat top 10 players like Felix. Maybe in a few years he can achieve what Waldner was for Sweden and the world.
when i was thinking about ways Truls could win this it all came back to mental. The Lebruns are sort of where he was a few years back. Making Felix lose focus and get a little pissed off was a key to get under his skin today.

A lot of players tend to be like that. Back when harimoto was younger and was getting wins against CNT players, his opponent would usually match some of his vocal energy. Xu Xin is a pretty chill player but would Cho pretty often when playing harimoto.
