I just finished reading Ahrens Sönke's Smart Notes. I think you were able to summarize the essence of Zettelkasten very compactly. It complements what is missing in the book, namely a concrete example for the implementation. Thank you for this video, it helped me with the initial setup.
Just watched 3 of the videos on your zettlekasten method. Brief, precise and clear. Thank you for this well presented information that I will try to incorporate into my method.
Wow - You've got so much clarity dude - amazing. . . . is this a result of working with Zettlekasten ? :) All the best !! Very encouraged to try this out . . . .
Highest appreciations! Brother, two questions: 1. how do you insert that bolded arrow so quickly? 2. are you planning to do another Zettle-Notion video with the updated backlinking feature, and when would that be?
@@mkulkhanna Thank You for your response and co-creation of the Universe, highly appreciated! I was referring to/curious about (how to quickly insert) the arrow repeatedly inserted at approx. min. 1:11 (not the toggle one)
@@mkulkhanna Me too. I first saw Roam from Thomas Frank's video and immediately signed up and got it. After using a month Roam was going to be paid version and fortunately Notion became free for personal plan. Since then have been using Notion for organizing and managing my life. If Notion have Bi Directional Link system, hands down,it would be the best ultimately note taking app out there. (now it is too) @bhavana I was starting to use Obsidian for a week to see what it has. Pretty similar to roam. But don't have toggle feature(as far as I know) which is necessary for me. Heard Paid version is coming soon too. So ultimately sticking to Notion is currently doing great for me and found out the video of you explaning Zettelkasten method in Notion is really helpful to me.
Thanks. I have a question. If I have thousands and thousands of notes sorted by alphanumeric IDs. If I have a new Idea in a note how can I link it to one of the others? I could no more remember the content of one or more of the previous ones. (Obviously this is a problem that i could bump into if I have a paper-system order). Thanks for the answer.
Great video . It explains better than the book . Thanks

totally agree! this video helped me greatly to get started
This was explained so lucidly, also really appreciate the effort to showcase Zettelkasten physically with those notes.

You are a legend, thanks for your great videos!
Insightful video! Well explained! looking forward to seeing more from you!

This was one of the best videos on the Zettelkasten method I have seen! Thank you!
Very comprehensive video on the system. Thank you!
You are right Mukul! And Zettlekasten itself is a system that will yield to paper as well as digital medium. Expecting more from you...!
Great video, as always, Mukul! Really like how you economise your words!

1. I think you're referring to the "toggle" hide thing which you can get using '>', followed by a space.
2. I am thinking of it, yes.

Ohh, that’s just ‘->’. Notion automatically converts this into that fancy arrow you see.
Comprehensive video. Helped with a better understanding.
Hi Mukul, can you make more videos on Notion? I'm new to digital note taking.
Like how do you use it on day to day basis?
That's the plan Aditya! Am running a little busy with my GRE exam prep these days. Would love to do some videos on Notion after that!
What do you think about using RemNote for the Zettelkasten Method?
I haven't used it, I'm sorry. Ever since Roam Research got paid, I've become quite convinced that I'm going to stick with Notion.

@@mkulkhanna I'm giving zettlr a try. It's FOSS, and seems to be working for me.

Hey! It's been almost a year since you've put this out.
I was wondering if you still use this system and if you've had any issues so far.
I have been exploring Obsidian these days!
@@mkulkhanna How has the experience been so far?
Good! Loving the graphs the most!
Ty for let me know what i want to become :)
