Great tribute to a highly underrated player. Intelligent, versatile, adaptive and surprisingly strong. His unseen defensive work is phenomenal and its great to see it all come together for him.
hes not underrated. "underrated" is such an over used term. its a shit way to give a compliment particularly when its total bullshit. underrated players don't get selected for lions tours. he's very very far from underrated
See that clip where he gets absolutely fucking rolled by that big bastard - laughs it off, leg taps and then turns it over? That shit gets me fucking hype. Fucking class.
What a highlight reel. I forgot how good he really is. Was probably the best all round center in the world a couple of years ago. I haven't seen that same acceleration since his injuries started 2 years ago,
If he wasn’t so injury prone he would be highly regarded as the best. It’s unfortunate we only get to see his brilliance for 3 or 4 months a year because he is amazing
I think Joe Schmidt leaving Ireland spurred a big change in his form and confidence. Schmidt just wanted him as a bartering ram at 12 when he is so much more than that. It seems now he has just been told to play ball. He is doing everything. He is as important to Leinster and Ireland atm as O’Dscoll was back in the day.
Stand-out centre of this years 6-Nations for me. Brex was good too, mind, given the circs. I kind of like the idea of Henderson @ 12 and North @ 13. Entertaining biff levels.
He's always been this good. Leinster just never use him as anything more than a crash ball merchant. when he was at Connacht he was incredible. I hate seeing him get wasted by Leo at Leinster. Irelands best back
@@owyn4799 I don't know. Never in his career at Connacht did he play 12. He was always a full back or 13. And that's where he was best. He is very good in space and is incredible at running great lines. He does that better than any other centre in Ireland. His decision making was also very good. Whereas since the irfu had him moved to Leinster, he has not played a game at 15 ( which was his best position ) and rarely plays at thirteen. He's very good at crash ball rugby, but it's not his game. I think Schmidt definitely had a lot to do with Robbie not fulfilling his potential, because he didn't play him where he should. He also tried to play ringrose whenever he could when henshaw is so much better. I don't think it's just because he got lighter that he's been more noticeable. He's played a lot more at thirteen and gets to play a bit of rugby when he's at 12 for Ireland whereas at leinster literally all he's used for is to put his head down and crash the ball. It's so hard to watch. I think if he came back to Connacht he'd be a lot better off.
@@CD-603 not really competitive at champions cup any time they made it in to be fair. Has been picked 12 at international and club as there is a better 13 there.
Ireland doesn't seem to produce too many athletes like this, big, strong, fast, agile, skilled, lions nailed on starter for me Gatland will probably drop him for Davies
Apologies - had this video uploaded prior to that game and didn't have time to alter it as I'm busy with uni work! Will definitely include it in any future Henshaw vid!
Tbh I’d like to see him with George north George complementing henshaws line breaks and henshaw complementing George north with his speed and weight and carry’s
Lions backline: Ali Price Finn Watson Johnson (everyone sleeps on him but he's great) Henshaw (though I like him better at 12) LRZ Hogg Second team Murray or Tomos (maybe care) Biggar Adams Owen/Manu Ringrose/North May/Earls Hugo/Liam Sorry no project players for me.
The most complete centre in the world right now tackling, breaking tackles, footwork and better then most fullbacks in the air.

Not underrated
That clip against Nadolo is great
The smile he gives after he gets bounced is pricelss
Unreal how he can be bounced off and still make the tackle then steal the ball.
yeah...that's a special kind of rugby player...Lions tour all day long for me...the 'Quite Man' of the Irish Team for me ...GREAT player
been on fire the last year. Ridiculous cardio and tackling machine.
As a Springbok fan I truly admired Henshaw in this last Lions series.. Excellent player
He having some season 💪 🦁 12 another class video 👌👌👌
Crash ball, defence, offloading, pace. Quality player great vid
Glad to see one of him he’s been incredible this 6N wouldn’t surprise me if he’s on the lions squad (from a Welsh fan)

Henshaw always delivers.top top player
Best center in the world at the moment
Seems like he’s been around forever solid player
What
Just the man to fill Gordon D'Arcy's boots. Shout out to his girlfriend for wanting to move to Dublin 🙌
Gordon was great but Henshaw is much more dynamic
Andrew Forde you got the best rugby content on YT!!!!
Easily the best Irish back playing right now

Henshaw is beast, such a strong ball carrier and always good to score a try on the days that matter most
Doesnt score many, but he always pulls one out when Ireland are struggling.

My predicted Lions player of the series 2021
Should start for the lions coming from an English fan.
Him and Farrell 👌
@@pondbus1ness more like him and North
Can u do a six nations team of the comp plz

Has to be a certain starter for the lions

It was schmidt he bulked up and kept getting injured he's lost a few kg for sure and is better for it.

Playing in the pro 14 and challenge cup is a different level to international and champions cup.

Ulster man here. Any chance we can cut some of the videos of Henshaw ripping us apart? 😂
On the worst lions tour in history, out of 40 guys he was one of 3 that come back with his head held high.
Was really hoping for the clip of him smashing sam simmons against exceter the other day

@@AndrewDavidForde All good man. Keep up the great work!
Anyone have that clip?
They have similar builds
No spinning break against Toulouse away during Connacht's first win against them?
If he doesn't tour with the BIL it will be a travesty.
I am Welsh,so don't accuse me of bias.
You should have called it "centre of excellence"
He does seem like a Nirvana guy tbf
Would like to see him and Slade in the centre partnership's for the Lions.

Better at 13 than 12 imo

Ali Price is very lucky to make the squad.
Should have been dropped long ago. Finally had a good 6 nations
He’s been one of Ireland’s best for years now
