Such a shame about the weather on the Sunday. We really enjoyed the Saturday in the sunshine. It was great to see the machinery in action - it brought back lots of very happy memories. Well done to everybody involved and I look forward to next year's event... THANK YOU 👍👍👍
The total cost of restoration..and constant fettling ..plust getting the kit to the event just blows me away ....and sad that so few people turn up to these events ...plus you at casterton to bring this lovely stuff to us ...well done ..a great presentation
I wasnt expecting a 2nd video as I saw you were busy working hard all sunday morning. well done to all the people who tried to put on a show despite the weather. Ive never seen threshing in the rain before. There was still a lot to see despite the weather and I will definatly go back next year
Good work, Brian, to get 30 mins footage out of Sunday's shenanigans 👏, it proves that we are a dedicated bunch! Thanks for the shout out to the channel too 👍
Another very enjoyable vid. Great to see some dry wall building. As an enthusiastic youngster I tried helping my uncles many times but almost every stone I placed got removed or twisted around or turned upside down! My heart is with vintage but watching that New Holland doing it's thing with low revs and no fuss, it has to be at the absolute pinnacle of diesel engineering.
Another cracking video! Many thanks to all those involved in its production! It's a shame the weather was so poor on day two but the results of the video speak volumes for the effort from everyone to put this event on! I know a certain person would be very, very proud! Well done!!
I noticed your camera in some of my clips. It was hard work putting the video together when I didn't take it my self. Despite that, I was very grateful for the help. Thanks for al your hard work bringing the TAH machines along.
@Casterton-Vintage thanks, always a pleasure to be able to sort tractor's out for Arthur and always a pleasure to be able to do casterton vintage as it was at little casterton show 👍
Again, Casterton, another brilliant vid, very informative, but do tell me, have you got any old ICI bags in the museum 😜, that was our main uniform on rainy days many years ago, the bags on our heads along with the donkey jacket and wellies....😂
It's a pity the rain spoiled the second day of the show as the video of the first day was excellent viewing and if the weather had stayed dry I'm sure the second day would have been equally as good as the first day.
Thanks to those who tried on the Sunday to make a show if pretty aweful rain, it made the few hours drive from North Yorkshire worth it👍👍 I still wasn’t dry by the time I got home! Also a pleasure to talk to the old boys who took the time to chat.
Sorry I still didn't meet you. I was a bit busy! Thanks for coming. I was surprised anyone turned out on such a terrible day. I finished the combining on Friday and it still wasn't really dry enough but rain was forecast again!
@@Casterton-Vintage no worries, there will be another time. It was my birthday treat to my self to take the landy on a decent trip and to visit the show again. Hopefully it’s all in now for you 🤞
😊😊 U 😮😮 never stand behind a horse 🐴 😮 they spook easy they can and will kick U 😮😮 and it's not going 2 feel good and U will also say more mamma it won't be joke and that tractor 🚜 😮 needs a good peace ✌ 😊 of rubber mat 2 cover the magneto up or use a plastic milk jug magneto s don't like the rain or wet weather 😮😮 OMG 1O 6 2O24

Thanks for your consideration. Old farm machinery is a limited market. Most people have to remember the machines before they get excited about them.

Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks.
Great video. I liked the adjustable chock block on the Marshall tractor. Good thing there was big machinery there to move things about. 👋👍🏻
Thanks 👍

Glad you enjoyed it. Dry stone walling is a bit slow for me. It would be okay if you didn't have a thousand other jobs to get to 😊.

Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for that thought.
Pity it rained but still a great video by you and your crew .
Many thanks. We all got quite wet 😂
Thank you so much to you and your team for a great video....
👍
Another great video filmed in not so great weather ☁️☁️ may not have been the video you wanted to film but very entertaining with lots of action 💪👌
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks.
Good one, look's like it kept you busy, i was able to do one round in the afternoon just enough to get my video clips well done 👏

G day from Ontario Canada A older farmer work on Fordson, He said If neighbour lady hung wash out Fordson would not start

Ths Interesting

I found an old ICI bag with the number on it in the bottom of a hedge recently. It took me right back to my childhood.
@@Casterton-Vintage I lad lol , you was maybe to little to wear it on your head, perhaps used it as a sledge, they were good for that too....😜
Remember wearing a fert bag as a coat on a wet day cut holes for head and arms
What a shame the glorious British weather didn't turn up, so sorry for all involved
At least we had a good Saturday. Thanks for the comment.

Good old English weather 😊

I thought you shouldn't tow start that era of Fordson, for fear of stripping the worm final drive ...
That's what I was always told but I've seen it done a number of times. Probably not a good idea on spade lugs but tyres will slip??
Brilliant thanks everyone.
👍
Such a damn shame for all involved, when the weather doesn't want to cooperate
The one thin we can't control. Never mind, we will have better luck next year hopefully.
