Sin duda alguna es la voz mas bella de tenor que he escuchado ademas posee un gusto muy especial para cantar que solo pueden hacerlo los elegidos y este cantante fue y es uno de ellos porque cantantes hay muchos pero elegidos muy pocos para mi este intérprete ha sido y sera único aunque no se le haya reconocido como merece pero su legado está ahi y sigue estando porque los grandes vienen para quedarse y pasar a la historia yo lo considero el rey de los tenores de todas las épocas desde madrid Maestro siempre mi respeto y admiración
Estoy totalemte de acuerdo con usted sr., y ahora permitame escribirle què si no tuvo el reconocimiento del què husted habla ès por la sencilla razòn de su gran humildad..no tuvo no quiso **marketing**, no quiso aduladores..no quiso ser una **estrella*, era distinto a los de su època..con los cuales le unia gran amaistad..no quiso ser el **cuarto tenor** y eso què se lo porpusieron!! la vencia la timidez y la inestabilidad de su carcter con frecuentes episodios de depresiones inaguantables...( decia el,què aveces salia a cantar con la garganta seca de tantas pildoras què tomaba!!,) en fin sr. yò tuve la suerte aun de escucharle muuuuchas veces cuando daba conciertos y reciatales por toda Cataluña y habia mometos peores y de MEJORES!!, entonces apreciabas esa inmensa càlidad de su voz aterciopelada què no tien rival..aun! y creo què jàmas lo tendra!.... UN SALUDO !!!
@@rafaelboixfargas1558 Hola pues no sabia de esos episodios ya que a mi pais solo llegaba la información de un tenor con una luminosa carrera vocal e interpretativa por lo que siento mucho saber que paso por esos momentos porque lo he admirado siempre y hubiera querido que tuviera la Luz y la brillantes de otros tenores con menos posibilidades que el de todos modos hay algo que nada ni nadie puede conseguir ocultar que es el que muchos como yo admiramos y reconocemos el indiscutible bello sonoro y espectacular sonido de la voz de este maravilloso cantante por lo que es y seguira siendo uno de las mas bellas voces de todos los tiempos un saludo y gracias por esa información y su tiempo desde madrid un abrazo

Having listened to opera since a teenager and now travelling the world to hear opera, never in my life have I heard a more beautiful voice. I attend Jaume's Masterclasses and he is also a great teacher.

No creo equivocarme cuado escribo què la voz de ARAGALL ( de sus mejores tiempos!)..ès la mas natural de tenor lirìco spinto! y sin rival què madre pariò y parira!( perdòn!) ( ès cometario un dia lo dijo su amigo Pvarotti.....
Bellissima voce di tenore lirico spinto, senza esitazione alcuna, mi entusiasma, non lo conoscevo e devo dire che è veramente superbo sia nella linea di canto che nella dizione, in questo brano è superiore a Kraus e a tutti quelli dopo di lui, oggi non credo ci sia chi possa stargli alla pari, peccato.
Godiamoci questa versione e ringraziamo chi l'ha postata.

Como voz de la más bellas que han existido. Para mi Kraus como técnica y Jaime como voz, junto a Fleta, los tres mejores tenores Españoles de la historia.

Tuve la suerte de escuchar a Aragall en persona en un concierto allá por el año 1.997.
Qué potencia.
Yo también lo escuche dos veces en recitales, su canto era irregular pero su materia prima increíble.

Creo que era un concierto de canciones napolitanas.
No recuerdo nada más.

This artist is breemin with talent. From the moment l first heard him sing years ago, l thought he had it all. He was right up there with the very best but not getting the same exposure! That in itself was a gross injustice. I understand that he suffered from stage fright. Nevertheless he remains one of the best tenors up there. Thanks for sharing. I be safe.

Magnificent! I am surprised at how perfectly covered his passagio was at the time! Later on he opened up the sound just like Di Stefano had done and that fact affected both negatively.
Aragall never opened the sound. In fact, today is his 81 Birthday and the voice is same. Clear, brilliant and incredible beauty.
Posiblemente junto con Bergonzi las voces más bellas de la historia...Un perfecto Spinto Aragall ...

@@mattvichy5414 Anzi se Bergonzi fu un grande....non si deve dimenticare che la voce sua NON ERA all'origine quella d'un tenore ma d'un BARITONO !!!
E fa tutta la differenza con Aragall la voce tenorile autentica la più " pura" della seconda parte del XX secolo....con Luciano certo...
Aragall junto.a Bergonzi tienen el timbre voz más hermoso de la Ópera. Una de las mejores interpretaciones de Edgardo que he escuchado...
Bergonzi gran tenor verdiano, pero de un timbre poco bello. Excelente técnica.
Bergonzi dal vivo e' stato qualcosa di letteralmente indimenticabile. Tra i 4 o 5 davvero eccelsi che hanno graziato l'udito del secolo 20esimo.
@@lydiaguarro timbre poco bello... Señora. Supongo se le puedan llamar gustos. Claro a mi tambien me encanta Di Stefano, o Fleta, o Gigli. Pero el timbro de Bergonzi era algo inseparable de su arte. Magnifico. Repito, gustos.

@@nurhandrio It' not "completely" on key as it was originally written. There is a B natural in the Fra poco me ricovero aria and Maestro sings an alternative lovely Bb.
@@mariomazzi7894 Does it matter that much? I'd rather have a beautiful performance on a transposed key. A semitone makes no difference anyway to ears of those who are not intensely trained, but can be convenient sometimes to accomodate lyric spinto tenors to light lyric tenors repertoire. Is it worth paying to listen to a mediocre performance that is on key as it happens every now and then?
For Aragall this does the trick because his timbre is beautifully captivating and his technique is appropriate to perform operatic roles, so why not transpose a note here and there if he can deliver. Abbado himself arranged a transposition of Romeo role in Bellini's Capuletti e Montecchi to a tenor tessitura for him to sing it.
Furthermore, he's not interpolating unwritten high notes as some light lyric tenors who sing Edgardo do just for boasting.
