I love the Irish attitude of "you are good enough - get on and do it. If you weren't good enough you wouldn't be near our V expensive babies" I love their ethos and work attitude, I learnt a lot working with Irish producers similar to them. It's even more lovely the relationship benefits everyone so much ❤

We're all so very proud of you, and how amazing that you were able to learn about the power of a forward canter making the fences not seem so big, so you can bring that home to your girlies.Glad that your return to this height was behind a set of grey Connie ears and how cool for it to be in the homeland of the breed! I love these videos. Jake and Rob are totally different, but both gorgeous and very special horses. And you have come so far in a couple of years... hopping on unfamiliar horses the day of competition and pushing your limits! The thing is, the most growth comes from the biggest challenges, and it seems your confidence hiccup from a couple of years ago has resulted in you becoming more solid and more confident than you were before. Well done Meg I don't know if I'd have been brave enough for taking on competitions on a young and strange horse - let alone at the heights you did.... I'm still piddling about with 70cm (and occasionally 80cm) courses. Both horses are absolutely gorgeous!

It’s a really big thing to get on a strange horse, with strange tack and go into an indoor arena and jump in a competition - amazing. Very well ridden. Don’t let Jammie see the 1.10 on Rob - she will definitely want to have a go… and will expect to be able to go at that speed!
