- It's incredible how much color and texture is bursting onto the scene for late summer. Feast your eyes, then find a spot in the garden, because these plants are just too beautiful to pass up! Noelle tours you through our outdoor nurseries and perennials houses to showcase the plants available now, while giving great advice!
It’s amazing how much information you have in your memory bank ! 🌸❤️🇨🇦
Really helpful information on so many things available and new . Last couple of days watching videos on utube I'm very impressed. I live in Arkansas with a very different growing condition than probably most of your customers but you have been able to give me information helpful in my area also . I want to say I don't get such information for my area from many of the companies. Great and keep up with what your doing . The narrator has alot to do with this helpful information. 🎉
You really have beautiful flowers 💐 there!! I love that you give so much information on your flowers! 😊
Thanks for the great information.
👏🏻great information.🙏🏻
I wish I lived close to your garden center. Love it!
The verbena and coreopsis together are stunning!!
So beautiful and relaxing place thanks for sharing stay blessed and best wishes from Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦
Great video.❤
I’m so glad to finally hear someone say that deer eat ninebark…I always hear it touted as super deer resistant, but the deer in my area didn’t get that memo. They will decimate the bush in winter too, when options are limited.
Do you have videos about pruning a large smoke bush? I want mine to grow large but it has many “lion tail” branches that tend to fall over and I’d like to know how/when to prune for fuller growth.
Sorry, we don't currently have a specific pruning video on Smoke bush/Smoke trees. They bloom on old wood, so if you enjoy their flowers, you will want to do most of your pruning immediately after they finish flowering (before fruit/seed set). If your goal is to have beautifully colored foliage, cutting this plant back hard (6" from the ground level) in late winter/early spring will produce new, showy growth. In your case, heading back longer shoots to encourage side branching is advised in late winter/early spring. You can thin out older wood or weak branches at this time too.
@@PetittiGardenCenters Thank you! That does help a lot.
Our pugsters didn’t come back this year and I didn’t trim it back till it was warm weather.😢 which location are you filming at ?
Unfortunately the cold snap we experienced in December did a lot of damage to Butterfly Bushes in Northeast Ohio. We filmed this at our Oakwood Village location!
My petunias about done for season, what is good replacement for hanging baskets until frost? Thanks
If you like the look of petunias but are looking for something more cold tolerant, try SuperCals! They're a petunia hybrid that can tolerate cooler weather and even a couple light frosts! You can browse the varieties we have available here: shop.petittigardencenter.com/departments/supercals-reg--386.html
What part of Ohio are you located?
We have 9 locations in Northeast Ohio! You can find more information here: www.petittigardencenter.com/locations/
