- I built a real Pokemon card library that will hold every Pokemon card ever! Inside this Pokemon library we will have a Pokemon binder for every set released. I also decide to tear down the old studio and build a new RealBreakingNate studio! Can we complete this ultimate Pokemon cards goal?

Wait wait wait, He's only going for complete sets though, not master sets. As a master set collector, I lost excitement lol. I actually sought this video out to see if he was making master sets because my 1 inch binders are starting to not cut it and some of the upper deck pros are even not able to hold some sets.

Thank you for taking us on this journey Nate! I love collecting full sets and am currently in the progress of completing the WotC sets that I started when I was 11 years old so I can't wait to see the new series
This seems like an amazing journey to go on, and I'm excited to see how it goes. However, there are some questions to be asked.
- Will this include POP Series cards?
- Will stuff like the Box Topper cards be included?
- How about the McDonalds or General Mills cards?
- Are we including all of the Black Star Promos?
- Does this include Jumbo Cards?
This seems like an AWESOME project, and I'd love to contribute in any way possible. I think informational sheets for each set is a great idea, having stuff like the set name, release date, number of cards, a little blurb about the set, the booster pack art, iconic cards from the set, etc. I think they could look REALLY cool if done right. Super excited to see how this whole endeavor goes in the future and hear all sorts of stories from many different people.
The Pokémon Card Library gives me "waking up and heading over to the bookshelf and then heading out to start a pokemon journey from any pokemon game vibes" can not wait to follow this journey Nate. So glad to know you are the one to start it. Peace, love and a high five!

Love the idea of building the library, definitely one of the most ambitious and amazing things, I’ve seen someone do. If your documenting everything would you show where you are first with all the sets, to see the scale of the project. Keep up the fantastic work, can’t wait to see what you do next

This’ll be a fun series. Might be a good idea to sleeve every card as well, just to help preserve them. That would be a task in itself though haha
Yeah I’m currently figuring out the perfect sleeves I want to do that. Open to any and all suggestions
@@RealBreakingNate Deep Pocket Monster suggested perfect fit sleeves, I have been using regular penny sleeves and they fit alright in my binders.

Living my dream man. I rearranged my collection to being Pokemon based rather than set because I found myself focusing on the holes in my collection rather than what I had.

This is a great idea. Completing a set is always a good time. But I don't think there's ever been a series documenting the process of completing every set. Looking forward to it.

Hello realbreakingnate, I am a long time viewer but first time pokemon collector, I have spent so much time watching your videos, they always put a smile on my face. Keep doing what you do. I was wondering what binders you use to put your cards in for like a set, I see that you use bcw z-folio 9 pocket one with the zip, but I have also seen vault x 12 and 9 pocket with the zip.
What I love about pokemon cards is master sets. So you've always been my favorite. But this is a different level of awesome. Looking forward to the journey

Love the library, it's good the friends are helping to fill it. The new studio looks great. Can't wait for the studio tour.
If I could make a suggestion for you, to make your life in this slightly easier. If I were you, I'd number each set on each of your little sticky notes that you've got posted on your shelving, like put a number next to each set name, starting with 1, and counting up until you've written a number next to each set name on each sticky note (like base set = 1, Jungle = 2, Neo Genesis = 1, Neo Discovery= 2, etc...). That way, you can just look at the sticky note to see which number binder you need to pull off the shelf when you need it, instead of counting down the sticky note every time you need to pull out a binder, and then having to count a second time left to right to find the specific binder on the shelf you need. Just to save yourself some counting in the long run.

Nate, if you see this great meeting you at regionals. I was the tmobile guy thats probably the easiest way to remember lol. Excited to see what you create out there with the crew. Thank you for taking a picture with me and also signing my little buddies hat! This library idea is awesome man if you need help organizing bulk I can lend a hand lol Im sure thats a blast revisiting the history. I may have some e series and earlier common/uncommons to donate to the library if you dont have them. Expedition or Aquapolis would be my set to complete if I could probably.
You have no idea how excited I am for this, when I got back into collecting I wanted to make the same thing but public and more of a museum of just the history of pokemon and a place where people can play the games (video and card) and also make it a pokemon stop area for pokemon go but sadly I am gonna have to live through you nate!

I've followed you for a long time. I used to be a big TCG collector when Pokemon first came out. I don't have them anymore. But as I watch your channel and see you opening cards it makes me feel like I'm opening them with you and Marie. Now your doing the library and I'm excited to see all the old cards that I grew up with. Your new studio looks amazing. I want you to know that your a big inspiration to all Pokemon collectors. Sorting cards and putting them in order is my favorite part of collecting. I have all my binders by set. I also have my binders in order on a bookshelf. It’s stress relieving to just pull a binder and look at a set.
If you ever need help sorting let me know I’m only in Dayton and have family in greenfield. So excited for this new series!

Duuude...congrats on the pokemon library. I've had a similar goal since the early 90s with my comics and cards collections. My pokemon library went from displaying them in 9-pocket 3-ring binders in the 90s, to single-sleeved 5-row boxes in the 2000s, to the current 12-pocket double sided white Arceus binders.
