I also create a lot based on other of my favorite franchises like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings / the Hobbit, Chronicles of Narnia, Sherlock, etc.

The commenter was just trying to relate it to something she was more familiar with, and you went in on the assault, as though she had just doused you in boiling water. Besides, the title of the video references Dark Academia, which is a genre and aesthetic, so, really, she wasn't even wrong.
Maybe the book is "stupid" and "pathetic" to you, but...the world doesn't revolve around you or your *opinion*. Also, life and art don't have to be mutually exclusive. I mean, art imitates life, and we've seen life imitate art, so it's perfectly normal to relate something we see in real life to a work of fiction, and vice-versa.
That person also said that they didn't have these kinds of buildings in their country, thus, Harry Potter was the only point of reference they had, so your put-down was elitist, judgmental, unnecessary, and demonstrated a lack of comprehension on your end.

Our country is not a book or fantasy movie. That was just crested separate inspired by it.
Just wish people would appreciate our country history and city for what it really is.
Whenever anyone ride the Jacobite train they always make it about a book which is not real.
The viaduct is historic and the train is too. It goes way back further than that. And people need to stop stripping our country and making it about Harry Potter outlander etc learn the difference those are not real those are fairy tales fantasy made up stories
Learn our true country and city streets places and history.

A cultural history (Aka popular culture such as books) is as important as historical events to truly know a place.
Your tone of voice -is- aggressive, your attitude is aggressive. While you may not wish to be perceived that way, you do not get to tell people how they are perceiving you (thats called gaslighting). People do not learn things by being made to feel 'wrong', but by being a decent human being. I think you need to take your username into consideration a little more. You're not bullying, but you are attacking a stranger online after they've expressed a positive emotion.. you've purposefully come to sh*t on it. You've come to vent your own personal issue onto some innocent stranger. Must feel good. Funny you talk of projecting when....

The building seen outside is the Writer's Museum in Lady Stair's House at the Lawnmarket, on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. (It is just off said Royal Mile).
I'm 75% certain that view is from Edinbrugh (down to the rain itself,) and I am furious I hadn't found this sooner. Amazing as always!

I don't know about the city, but I'm 99% sure this can't be real rain; it's falling way too fast, and would hurt like hell or even possibly damage the body at the speed I'm seeing, not to mention these are unusually large drops. Also, the fall rate is very stable; it is supposed to get intense then relax and so on.

POV: It was a rainy day and you usually loved those kinds of gloomy days. That was until you looked through your dorm window and saw him holding an umbrella for someone else.
They were both walking around the courtyard while the new girl's arm was hooked within his. You couldn't help but notice how comfortably she was nestled into his right side, the same side you had found comfort in underneath the sheets during many early mornings and restless nights. Your heart twisted inside your chest and you desperately wanted to blame it on a chemical imbalance going on inside your head.
There’s no way heartbreak can take full control of you. You are stronger than your emotions. You can get over him.
But a war of conflicting thoughts waged inside your mind as you saw the couple enter the student library that once had only belonged to him and you. While the new girl found warmth from your ex-lover by squeezing her close to him, the only warmth you found was from the fresh tears that streamed down your face.

I thought it was Edinburgh. It is strange to me while there I’m home but learning the history it shouldn’t be a homely place at all it is a very horrible place to live back then. It’s quite sad.
