The OPPO Find X6 Pro is the latest from OPPO, but just might be the greatest camera package we've seen on a smartphone yet. Sporting 3(!) 50MP sensors that OPPO wants to call all main shooters, the OPPO Find X6 Pro is certainly quite the beast. I take the cameras on the road to put them through their paces in this real world camera test.

thank you for the little camera tip near the start. for sure, always lower the exposure on these cameras. it’s insane how much more detail appears after doing so.
These photos and videos are the best I've seen from smartphones.
how do u find the photos compared to the 12S Ultra? It seems not as vibrant on the x6 pro.

@@selw0nk True but from the research I've done it wouldn't be convenient enough for myself unfortunately. I use Android Auto regularly and rely on my device to pull notifications on time, not to mention the bloatware you can't uninstall without tampering with it first. Thank you though.

It is such a shame that this phone is only sold in China, I think that it will sell fine in Europe. I definitely want one. The only reason I avoid China-only phones right now is just because of the lack of Android Auto, otherwise this is a great device.

This is a beastly camera system. Besides the 1080p camera (all ff cameras are inferior imo no matter what resolution).

Did you know the the 50mp photo's are actually not sharper compared to the normal 12mp? They are just 12mp pics upscaled to 50mp. The only thing you get is bigger filesize. I own this device and I was just as surprised as you will probably be when I found this out ;) Please give this some attention so Oppo fixes this in an update.

Compared to the "1" sensor the other 2 sensors are still secondary and small lower quality
Those secondary sensors are still bigger than the vast majority of main sensors of flagship smartphones. It is really amazing that you can use such big sensors with UW and telephoto lenses.

Play Store (GMS) is on China release now, so if you import, that will be included (unlike some like Honor, where you need to wait for the global version).
As an OPPO Find X5 Pro user, that phone was one of many I used last year and was the best Android of 2022 for me. I am not a selfie player or vlogger, so the front camera is moot. The rest of the package was great, including the price. I ordered the China X6 Pro, and the cost was £950, which includes all import taxes. That was for the 12GB version; the S23U 12GB costs £1400. The OPPO gets a case, charger and screen protector in the box, so value-wise, the OPPO is still killing Samsung. In fact, it costs only £50 more than the S23 256GB model with 4GB less RAM!
Good for you but it's still a relatively niche case. Most users will not be willing to take the risk or hassle to import a phone let alone a one-grand device. Also, you've missed the great preorder deals that Samsung offers this year. Not to mention the massive price drops on Samsung devices within the next 2 -3 months after the launch date if one can afford to wait.
Should this phone break international markets, it's definitely going to cost almost the same as S23U or even more. Look at the XM13P as a guideline and the 13U hasn't even been released yet. So no, China-only prices are not an actual representation of the same value in global regions.
@@revolee993 Just saying saving £450 and getting all the stuff in the box (£100) for me is worth the risk. I have imported before with few issues. There is a little bit of tinkering to do when setting up. In fact, as a HarmonyOS user on a Huawei, I think people get caught up in the Google world even more, trapped than Apple-land.

Relatively speaking it really isn't that hard to import a Chinese phone these days although of course it would be nice if they had global versions. There's a number of trustworthy sites that you can buy from that many people have done so before without much issues.
I really wish more Chinese companies would make more of an effort to go global though and make their phones more widely available and give Samsung and Apple a run for their money.

Despite some people hating the design, I loooove it due to the huge "camera lens"....it looks like an old school camera.
Honor Magic 5 Pro is available where I live (Germany) as well as the new Huawei 13 Ultra but the design of the Honor throws me off as well as the bump on the Huawei.

Megapixels doesn't automatically means good image quality, in fact this is one of the least important factors, what is important is sensor size, pixels size, aperture, lens glass quality, focal length, etc, 12mp is more than enough for most cases
Yes, and samsung 200mp for me kinda gimmicky, i rather get bigger sensor than more megapixel, Because of that s23u photo is pretty noisy

Enough with this please. If you can't appreciate what this rear camera setup has to offer and all you care about is front facing video and selfies go buy an iPhone or an Android with good front facing camera and let it be.. You don't buy this phone for front cameras.. Period.

Well at least in Europe there won't be any Oppo phones anymore. They stopped shipping to this market because they don't wanna pay the license fee for stealing patents.

That is anti-China nonsense. OPPO had licenses for the patents, but they ran out. Nokia asked for much higher fees, and OPPO refused to pay under FRAND. Nokia went to court the day after the Patents expired, asking to ban OPPO phones. OPPO refused to be blackmailed and voluntarily left the region. Nokia is a known patent troll, and two subsequent cases in Germany were put in stay whilst they await the appeals and rulings on Nokia's claims.
