    M.U.S.T. N.O.T. C.O.L.L.E.C.T.M.O.R.E.R.O.C.K.S. Kris, you make me laugh out loud. That phrase is the same one I say every time I go to the beach. @3:44 A deck prism @8:46 an ink bottle -- not a chip but a pouring spout. What about the obsidian spear point @2:35? Any more information? Your running commentary is worth a million laughs. Your efforts to keep us safe and sane is appreciated as we shelter in place.

    that quart milk bottle used to have a cardboard lid, that rested on an inner lip. Super find

    Hang on Chris, your ninja star is a Primer protector for artillery shells. It goes over the base of the shell when in transit. It could be for 18 pounder or 25 pounder. The one i found was marked E.O.C. (Elswick Ordnance Company). You are definitely on a hot spot. They had a leather strap on them so they could be slipped off quickly. Cheers.

    The stone bottle is by Royal Doulton, Lambeth Made Very Good Stone Ware and some highly decorative The more decorated pieces had the individual potters initials on them sometimes mixed in with the pattern.

    Kris make sure you keep the bottle tops they are harder to find than the actual bottle themselves you know usually when you find a bottle or you buy a bottle from an antique store somewhere like that it usually will not have the bottle top and if it does it will be worth a lot more . . You probably know all this anyway :-) :-)

    Doulton Lambeth part of a flagon 1890's period, and the little bottle with lip pourer is a bulk ink bottle

  • @mickthegyp
    @mickthegyp 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    The stoneware bottle would probably have had ink in it . I have two of different sizes which used to belong to my dad.. he was of the "that will come in useful for something" era and would throw nothing away. We used to call him Steptoe 😁 god bless him👍.........update I should have watched to the end before leaving my comment LOL😝

    as soon as you pick up up the milk bottle knew what it was, those wide neck bottles had a waxed cardboard lid set into the neck with a little tab to pull them out. Think your tusk is a claw -ust a guess. Does it amaze you how bottles get washed up amongst rocks and survive, does me.

    Hi Kris That big rectangle of glass reminds me of prisms they put on ships to help light the below deck. Some one who actually knows something about boats might be able to confirm. Stay safe and healthy and thanks for another cool video. Wendy x

    I would love to be able to beach comb like that. You are indeed lucky to live where you live. The old brown crock bottle was fantastic, as well as the small milk bottle. There may be some real age to that pocket watch, as well. Meanwhile it is still raining in Oklahoma, and I am still waiting to get back out at it. I don't want to complain, because we don't have near the amount of rain you do, and in the summer the ground is as hard as concrete.
