I should reduce my time scrolling on instagram reels. The gender wars and other negative thing on insta posts and comments really effects my mood. Full of negative energy. You are right, we should reduce our exposure to negative environment.
People are constantly trauma dumping on eachother too. There's an old man that I know who constantly watches the news and then tells me all the horrible things he sees. I finally told him that I don't want to hear about it and that it does nothing to grow me as a person and theres nothing I can do about it so why tell me? I don't think he had ever even thought about it before. We should he brining eachother UP!
I've got one tip for facial care that was a game changer for me. It's pretty obvious, although I'm the only one I know who does this. Always, ALWAYS, wash your hands before touching your face. Doesn't matter if you're washing it, applying serum or popping a black spot - always soap your hands. I've started doing it because I'm allergic but soon enough it improved my skin condition A LOT. And, also - try to not touch your face if you can. Don't scratch it, or whatever, espe, if you can't wash your hands first.
Loved these tips! For other healthcare girlies like myself, I’ve found that clear nail polish, a simple necklace & earrings + fun/cute socks or hair scrunchies/headbands has been a good way for me to feel put together and more myself at work without spending more time in the morning or putting on makeup that is just going to get smeared/sweated off during my shift. Thanks again for these tips!
I'm not allowed nail polish at work due to the infection risk, but you can get some nail buffers that get your nails super shiny and glossy, like you have clear coat on. If safety is an issue (mental health, emergency etc), necklaces are out, but studs or huggies may still be manageable.
Hi Jillz, I've recently found your channel and incorporated some of your tips into my life. most of the tips cannot be done cold turkey, so this is for the ones reading this. Change on your own tempo, do not rush or you'll crash. start with little things, like your daily skincare, doing your hair daily, changing into 'house clothes' instead of pj's, if you're used to wandering around in pjs/comfy clothes this small step will be already significant. don't feel obliged to start working out daily, you'll not be wanting to work out after day 3/4. start with little walks around the neighborhood. or getting off the train/bus 1 stop early and walking from there. know these tips and make them fit your schedule/lifestyle. become yourself 2.0 I've found my true self within the second week of incorporating your tips on 'how to glow up' and 'feminine energy' already harvesting the fruits of these little changes, got asked on a date twice in 2 days and gotten so many compliments. i'm feeling myself and walking around as if I own the space. Thank you truly! sending you lots of love and good energy and best of vibes🥰
@@NicolineNDahl pj's are clothes I sleep in, it used to be just a random tshirt but I started wearing my pj sets for bed only. and my house clothes are clothes I'm comfortable in, I can go to the store with them but not to the office. like a pair of leggings and a shirt/hoodie, or sweats. just the act of changing clothes in the morning (even tho they are not wow) makes a big difference for me. I used to sit at my desk with the tshirt I wore to bed while homeworking. I hope this clarifies it a bit :)
I totally agree! I tried to do everything and saw a lot of different videos about a lot of things, eventually I got frustrated with a lot of things because I didn't feel comfortable or just couldn't do a few things I saw or just didn't know where to start which made me go back to the starting point
I recently added drinking electrolytes every day and being consistent with daily walks & other exercise. LMNT electrolytes are great & help with skin glow!
I've recently started doing facial massages with bio-oil and it's helped so much with puffiness in my face, releasing tension in my jaw, and dark circles beneath the eyes.
Bio-oil the pink bottle? I have some and i bought it for scars but I didn’t know u could use it on ur face too, does it help with anything else and do u wash ur face with water after?
Wow, cool experience! Watching this and I already do most of these, but sometimes still struggle with feeling unhappy with myself, my body, being feminine enough, etc. It's an eye-opener that sometimes, doing all the feminine things doesn't automatically solve issues you might be struggling with mentally, but it helps with feeling validated :)
PLEASE DO MEDITATION STYLE VIDEOS of some kind. There’s something so comforting and inspiring about you and the way you approach these subjects with grace not pretentiousness. I’ve not disagreed with a single point in any of your videos or found it any less than inspiring (uplifting even , an adjective I’ve never used😅). ❤
I'm definitely going to focus on the diet/exercise/sleep foundation for this year, but also really love the tip about negativity. It feels like much-needed permission to stay away from people who complain a lot or get stuck in destructive habits I've moved on from--we just don't need that influence!
The facial expressions part! So important! I have a colleague who, I noticed, is frowning and looks annoyed and displeased 99% of the time and it just looks so bad and very unattractive. And as someone with a severe case of RBF I try to be mindful about my facial expression whenever I am out amongst people.
Something with posture is to sit with your "sitting bones"!!! Roll your hips back till you can actually feel youre sitting on different bones. Your lower back will be more "forwards".
Last night I watched this and it reminded me of things that I let slack when life gets busy. Immediately after I put on a peel-off face mask, and when that dried I peeled it off and put on a bunch of lotion. When I woke up this morning, I still had like some acne spots, but my skin looked so good compared to before all that that I felt like I'm worth about 30K more than is in my bank account lol. I work a dirty job so I'm not too worried about looking amazing there, so the acne patches are going to hang out on my face while I'm working, but I still made sure to put on mascara eyeshadow and lipstick. Even with the patches, I still look so much better than yesterday! I also made sure to meditate and focus on my druidic path this morning, so all is going well now. Going to tidy a little bit before leaving for work in 15 minutes. Thanks again for your awesome content!
These tiny things matter a lot! The problem is that being women we will know these things but we care about others more than doing anything for ourselves! Thank you for reminding us about these :)
I improved my posture tremendously with the "legs up the wall" yoga exercise, every night as part of a relaxation routine, for a couple of minutes, first with arms along side your body, then arms open wide, and finally both arms perpendicular to your head. Works wonders when done regularly!
These were excellent tips! 💖I loved the tip about choosing suitable colors. It really does make a HUGE difference! Something I'd love to add is choosing the right shoes for you. I walk a thousand times more confidently in my Duckfeet boots rather than heels. So, I don't wear any sort of heel! Even if we do everything else right, uncomfortable shoes will undermine all our efforts.

In the colder months i absolutely take so much joy in putting on lotion or coconut oil & getting dressed to head out. I feel so cosy knowing my body is being nurtured in that way when I'm working or just out in the world.
Yes to the Colour Seasons! I had my colours analyzed professionally in June and it helps me so much with shopping and building a wardrobe. Also my make up and nail colour choices have bettered since then. I'm a Dark Autumn and I generally look better in darker clothes with some lighter details and I'm now trying to embrace it, especially in summer, where I was always so confuse why all the light coloured dresses looked awful on me.
Hey hello, I don't know if it'd be weird asking, but can you give me an idea of what colors look good on dark autumn? We don't have color analysts at my place, and after many videos I have finally figured out that I might be a dark autumn. So can you please help?
If I was you I would still go to a color analist. Because I also Thought I figured it out with TH-cam video's but it was't right afterwards. I'm very happy I went! Now I don't waste money on clothes that doesn't look that good
@annesharoy1992 If you Google search for the TCI Colour Poster for Dark Autumn then you'll see a lot of colours. DA colours have an earthy touch to them, they basically look a bit dirty, but on DAs they don't. Think of a Moroccan spice market. Burgundy Red, Wine Red, Mustard yellow, olive green, teal, plum, ..
@maicyfrans3780 I agree. I was not sure if I was a Dark Autumn or True Autumn and all my friends said True Autumn, but I always thought somethings was off, but I couldn't find picture of celebrities that looked like me, but where their season was known. Getting it done professionally helps to eliminate all doubts. I also got a colour fan and tips on make up/nails, etc
I got tested many years ago. I am an Autumn. This is the first time I have heard about a “true Autumn” or “Dark Autumn.” I am going to research this. Thanks for bringing this up. 🍁
Thank you for this video. ❤No matter how much we try, we always need reminders and tips. I haven't exfoliated my body in quite some time! Will do that this week! I paused your video and did a 10 minute yoga stretch because I've literally moved and hadn't given myself any time for any pampering. I then walked in front of my mirror haha and then sat down again to paint my nails ( a festive red!) whilst watching the rest of your video.🥰. Really needed this! 🙏 I wish we had Thrive market in the Uk :(.
Great tips Jillz and a really lovely reminder to prioritise ourselves. For me, taking vitamins, tinting my own eyebrows, having talking therapy, drinking lots of water and finally applying (natural ingredients only) fake/sunless tanning lotion makes me glow more. When I start to let these things slip, I really see it in my appearance and reflected in how I feel 🌟💕 Lots of love and thanks for your inspiring content as always, brightening my Sunday here in 🇬🇧❤
Glow up tip: Reduce your sugar intake! I was a HUGE sweets addict, Candy, chocolate, ice cream, cookies, everything!! I decided to cut down (not fully cut out) on sugar, I made healthier choices like subbing candy for Greek yogurt and frozen berries for two weeks and my face got soooooo much slimmer! My whole body was less bloated and more toned! My skin even cleared up! It was really hard to cut down on sugar. I was always craving it, I even got a massive headache for like 2-3 days, but once I reached day 7 it got much easier! I feel so much better and I don’t even crave sweets as much. I literally had coconut cake today and it was so sweet I felt so icky afterwards 😢
Okay I seriously love how motivating and helpful this is without each tip having like a 20 min explanation ,each tip was briefly explained but got the job done. love this vid
I have lived with serious mental illness my whole life and I have never felt beautiful really, sometimes I did but usually I just poured every ounce of energy into surviving and living another day. I often felt I was wearing someone else and that I didn’t know what I really looked like at all. Over years and years of therapy and caring for myself, I am finally in a place where surviving the day is not something I have to focus on and think about anymore. Watching your videos has been a guiding hand towards being the woman I want to be. After a life of feeling the way I did, when I finally got to the other side I stood there wondering “what do I do now?” Thank you so much for your videos, you do so much good work.
I can recommend figuring out your Kibbe Body Type. I'm a Soft Dramatic and it helps me a lot to find suitable clothing for my body. This combined with Colour Season is so helpful. Aly Art has a lot of videos on the Kibbe Body type!
@@spacebar9733 Yes, I have combined both kibbie and kitchener body type as well as color analysis since last year and I feel the best and it made the world of difference. I am Romantic classic and dressing that way truly is authentic to me. Love Ellie-Jean and Gabrielle. Wish they taught us these things in school.
Yes! I'm an FN and dark autumn and now I feel like what I need to wear and accentuate is so easy. It also makes me understand why I needed a little flow or movement in my clothes- without it I'm missing my natural energy. @@mozhdehrahimikonjkav8169
This would help if I could actually figure out my type 😭 I always considered myself curvy but in kibbe terms i must be a dramatic or flamboyant natural
Acne tip that almost no one ever talks about: your hair products could be clogging your pores! I could not figure out what was causing my acne for so long until I realized it was the Argan oil I was using on my hair daily and my hair gets in my face a lot. I switched to a brand called SEEN that is made by a dermatologist and safe for the skin and my acne is finally gone. Oh and beware of whey protein, too. That also made me breakout badly so I switched to pea protein.
❤❤I'm so glad that these tips are right on point, and you're not beating around the bush !! I've finally found an actual tips video instead of someone just stating the obvious " do your scincare and hair and you'll be fine." LOVED how in-depth this video is ❤❤❤❤
Okay- the grocery store energy makes so much sense. We are on a tight budget so we get a lot of things at Walmart and I specifically like one Walmart over the other and I couldn’t put it into words but grocery store energy makes perfect sense 😂
Such a helpful video with so many “creative” ways to glow up, not just the obvious tips but the ones you might not think about 😍 One simple thing that has helped me glow up physically is sleeping with a heatless curler. It’s simple, cheap, quick, doesn’t damage your hair and gives you really natural curls! I’ve gotten soo many compliments on my hair 😅❤
I adore you, Jillz!!!! The Universe put us together. I have been watching your channel grow for MONTHS. Maybe since late June or early July! And I'm elated for you. God Bless you, sweet girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sending love peace and joy your way.
I love your tips! One thing I do that’s made a big difference is Japanese face massage/lymphatic massage. It’s changed the shape of my face (in a good way) and it improves circulation, lymph flow etc. you can also do self massage for other parts of your body and see big improvements. One channel I really recommend for this stuff is Imi’s Bigan Yoga. It’s got kind of funny Japanese graphics and some robotic sounding auto translate, but the lady (Imi) is super wonderful with a wonderful energy, and she explains the science behind her methods 😊
These are excellent tips 👏🙂 I need to practice being in the moment and not dwelling on things that needlessly stress me out or put me in a "mood". Watching hallmark movies lately seems to help 😁
@@Amyglowsup I really loved the first movie, but have not seen the series! Thank you for giving me some Sunday movie ideas, that's perfect🙌💕 If you can recommend others, please let me know 😊
I am a very busy person and often don’t have must time to spend doing my hair and make up etc. I would love a video for hair and make up and just glow up tips without much time
So many good points here and reminders to revisit and prioritize things I had been working on and allowed myself to forget about! I definitely will be pulling out my vocabulary workbook later and making sure to do some yoga before bed.
I have a lot of beauty marks, as she says, on my face; therefore when I do my makeup and feel a little cute, with my eyeliner I make them little heart shapes. It was something I was self conscious when I was younger since they're very noticeable, so it makes me feel so much better.
Hi Jillz. Since discovering your channel not long ago, I've watched many of your videos. Your content is really inspiring and empowering. Even though you're two decades younger than me, I've found much of your perspective and advice relevant. In the past few days, I've made an effort to have a more outwardly soft, feminine appearance (which my boyfriend has already noticed!) and I've started thinking in terms of the masculine/feminine polarity in my interactions with him. It's like I had an untapped superpower. I'm excited to really focus on nuturing my feminine energy in 2024! 20:10
Jillz, question: how do you get your press on nails to stay on? How long do they last? Do they damage your natural nails? I agree with you.. press ons are really cute!
Thanx for this video!!!i hope you are planning otger videos on the topic:how to get prepared on 2024(not only phisically but also mentally financially etc etc)A hug from Sicily,Italy
Jillz I am an astrologer and I have to say, you really embody your Cancer sun and Libra moon. Traditionally, Cancer and the moon represent the body, our bodily cycles and rhythms, and the daily habits we create to nurture ourselves, and Libra and Venus represent beauty, aesthetics, art, and balance. It’s so fascinating that your wisdom and the light you share with the world (sun) is Cancer and it is ruled by your body and rhythms (moon) in Libra. You’re truly living out your life’s path 💖 do you know your rising sign?
@@JillzGuerin oh wow, that is amazing given your background! Aquarius rising puts your Cancer sun in the 6th house of bodily injury and daily work. That is the wisdom and energy you reclaimed when quit your job years ago and healed your body and mind. Aqua rising also puts your Libra moon in the 9th house of higher education, spirituality, long distance travel and all things foreign. This makes sense that you healed your body and found a new joy for life by creating balance and beauty, and that you teach these things in a mentoring role. It also checks out that you prioritize traveling and feel restored from trips with your husband 🥰 as an Aquarius rising pay attention to Saturn in your chart, as it is your chart ruler!
@@JillzGuerin also the rising (and moon and sun to lesser extents) rules your appearance, and being a Saturn ruled rising with Cancer sun & Libra moon affirms why you have beautiful strong bone structure and more athletic body type (Saturn), luminous skin, soft features (Cancer) & a quite classically beautiful/stereotypically feminine/elegant vibe (Libra)

To help yourself feel more positive then - remove 'depressing' or 'sad' songs from you playlists as the music you listen to has an impact on your mood - surround your social media around positivity, because you feel influenced to be happier and you surround yourself with all the good (if that makes sense)

On point, with everything!!! Yes! Good reminders!! Thank you 😀
Great tips Jillz and a really lovely reminder to prioritise ourselves. For me, taking vitamins, tinting my own eyebrows, having talking therapy, drinking lots of water and finally applying (natural ingredients only) fake/sunless tanning lotion makes me glow more. When I start to let these things slip, I really see it in my appearance and reflected in how I feel 🌟💕 Lots of love and thanks for your inspiring content as always, brightening my Sunday here in 🇬🇧❤
Glow up tip:
Reduce your sugar intake! I literally had coconut cake today and it was so sweet I felt so icky afterwards 😢
the soft pink looks so good on you!!!
After a life of feeling the way I did, when I finally got to the other side I stood there wondering “what do I do now?”
Thank you so much for your videos, you do so much good work.
Vocabulary is def a very good one. For me, it makes a difference for sure!
I can recommend figuring out your Kibbe Body Type. I'm a Soft Dramatic and it helps me a lot to find suitable clothing for my body. This combined with Colour Season is so helpful.
Aly Art has a lot of videos on the Kibbe Body type!
Seconded, I'm a flamboyant natural 🤭🧁🌺 I love Aly Art. Ellie-Jean Royden and Gabrielle Arruda are my favorite channels for kibbe and Kitchener.
😭You are amazinggggggg
Acne tip that almost no one ever talks about: your hair products could be clogging your pores! I could not figure out what was causing my acne for so long until I realized it was the Argan oil I was using on my hair daily and my hair gets in my face a lot.
I switched to a brand called SEEN that is made by a dermatologist and safe for the skin and my acne is finally gone.
Oh and beware of whey protein, too. That also made me breakout badly so I switched to pea protein.
❤❤I'm so glad that these tips are right on point, and you're not beating around the bush !! I've finally found an actual tips video instead of someone just stating the obvious " do your scincare and hair and you'll be fine."
LOVED how in-depth this video is ❤❤❤❤
Okay- the grocery store energy makes so much sense. We are on a tight budget so we get a lot of things at Walmart and I specifically like one Walmart over the other and I couldn’t put it into words but grocery store energy makes perfect sense 😂
I've definitely felt better than usual after turning off my reply notifications
Can you make a video on which clothes/shoes/items are feminine and not feminine. Mini dresses, blazers? Jeans, trousers, ect.
It's always a good day when you post.
Your videos are like therapy. Thank you
I like what you said about flipping it & making our insecurities our beautiful strengths or fun & creative quirks.
Such a helpful video with so many “creative” ways to glow up, not just the obvious tips but the ones you might not think about 😍
One simple thing that has helped me glow up physically is sleeping with a heatless curler.
Could you please make a video about accentuating our "flaws" and stop comparing ourselves?
I love your tips! One thing I do that’s made a big difference is Japanese face massage/lymphatic massage. It’s changed the shape of my face (in a good way) and it improves circulation, lymph flow etc. you can also do self massage for other parts of your body and see big improvements. One channel I really recommend for this stuff is Imi’s Bigan Yoga. It’s got kind of funny Japanese graphics and some robotic sounding auto translate, but the lady (Imi) is super wonderful with a wonderful energy, and she explains the science behind her methods 😊
I need these reminders as I heal from a relationship
These are excellent tips 👏🙂 I need to practice being in the moment and not dwelling on things that needlessly stress me out or put me in a "mood". Watching hallmark movies lately seems to help 😁
Me too! I have been watching the good witch, now on the tv series they made after the movies
Thank you Jillz for this video ! I really needed this type of content for 2024 ! ♡
I’m learning English and your videos are amazing and really helpful to improve my English. Thanks a lot ❤
Hii jillz, discovered your channel a couple of weeks ago and I am in love with you and your content ❤
Aww thank you!! So glad you are here ❤️❤️❤️
Hii jillz , I want to know how can I be in that feminine energy to attract nice masculine soulmate in my life ,bcse I am getting married soon
I have a lot of beauty marks, as she says, on my face; therefore when I do my makeup and feel a little cute, with my eyeliner I make them little heart shapes. It was something I was self conscious when I was younger since they're very noticeable, so it makes me feel so much better.
watched her for the first time on laptop and damn, this woman is breathtaking
(?) why?
Ready for a positive year 🎉
Just love the energy she radiates ❤
Love your videos! Thanks for sharing all the tips!!! 🥰
You’ve became therapy for me!♥️
I'd also say, get tanned! Not like orange, but I use tanning cream and I love it.
Good to remember these ones for the new year! Thanks!
I'm so glad I found your channel! Love the tips 🌸
I love your sweater!
Your room is so so so cozy 🥰
Jillz, question: how do you get your press on nails to stay on? How long do they last? Do they damage your natural nails? I agree with you.. press ons are really cute!
Tip 16 is really good! Thanks.
Thankyou so much for these tips! I will definitely be using them!! 💕
i love it, can you make a more elaborate video how to walk as you described it :) 😅 some areas of improvement here ❤😊 thanks, have a great 2024
Thanx for this video!!!i hope you are planning otger videos on the topic:how to get prepared on 2024(not only phisically but also mentally financially etc etc)A hug from Sicily,Italy
Oh wow I love that! I’m an Aquarius rising!!
@@madmoony6 ahh all of that is so interesting!!! Thank you for that!
So on point, dear Jillz!
thank youuuuuuuuuuuuu jillzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I can agree, finding your colors was one of the best investments I ever made in myself. An absolute game-changer!!
You content are very natural and excellent bcz most of tge peoole doesnt care about diet and proper sleep and exercise food can change anyone 50 percent most of the influencers are now just skin care

Awesome video, thanks Jillz!
This is so much value-adding. Thank you for this kind of content, Jillz. :)
To help yourself feel more positive then
- remove 'depressing' or 'sad' songs from you playlists as the music you listen to has an impact on your mood
- surround your social media around positivity, because you feel influenced to be happier and you surround yourself with all the good (if that makes sense)
great video thank you !!
