Mr. Walken was very open and gracious here. He's a real pro not only as an actor, dancer and singer but in handling any question thrown his way. Makes you dig him all the more----completely unique human.
My Mother was Ronnies Aunt, (my cousin). We went backstage at Lion in the Winter met Robert Preston and Rosemary Harris. My Mother swooned when she met Preston as he changed after the show. Ronnie borrowed $5 from my mom because he was broke. He loved my Mother very much. She Lived with his family when she first emigrated from Scotland and I worked in the Bakery with Ronnie and his brothers in Astoria around the holidays when it was very busy. I miss them all very much.
Loved the interview. They were so good at letting Walken finish his sentences. And asking really interesting open ended questions. Walken is such a legend, and we saw the best of him here.
The colossus that is Christopher Walken. Geez, words can't express how much I admire him. When I think of all the plays this incredible man has been in it makes me wish I was born in America. I coulda gone to see him! I love watching these shows and listening to his experiences and thoughts on his craft; being in a local theatre group myself I have learned so much from this guy. I went to a method acting boot camp last year and one of the films we were advised to watch was the Deer Hunter. Sure, Chris says he doesn't apply method acting himself. He's even said he doesn't understand the concept of it. Yet he has the emotional power and depth that a method actor requires. In essence, whether he understands it or not, realises it or not, he's totally nailed the concept.
I love Christopher Walken. I kept waiting for him to correct the host's mispronunciation of Spokane. It's Spo-can, not Spo-kane, despite the spelling. Good interview.
An interesting interview, but would have been much better with a one-on-one, letting Christopher Walken talk more freely without interruption, or trying to steer him to specific answers. C.W. handled the situation well.
I know what he’s trying to get at , I’ve had friends and met some guys that were hilarious just telling a story , they weren’t even trying to be funny just the way they said things , was hilarious to me , for some it’s natural, but to do it as an actor is like catching lightning in a bottle, and Mr Walken has done that many times ! Lol
Strange guy but fascinating and a good actor owe doesn't even own a mobile phone ! Good on him they fantastic little devices but just checking up devices. Hes done some fabulous films loves cooking doesn't like driving or flying ...hell he could be Me 😅
5:47 About Christopher Walken's intonation with script delivery. 7:27 *skiffle (not skittle). C.W. knew he was close, but not quite right. The interviewers had no idea.
One of the interviewers should have said at one point:"Now Chris, what really happened with you, and Robert Wagner and Natilie Wood on the boat that night? Was it really an accident?
Chris Walken toured West Side Story and he had the privilege of working with Jimmy Dean's valentine crush. Once in a lifetime dream comes true. Shakespearian tragedy happened in real life. My condolences to the Wagner family in honour of the late unforgettable beauty, Natasha.

He is so alluring and enchanting.
He has a really nice personality. I like how he doesn't take himself seriously.
One of my favorite people Christopher Walken!
His voice is like melted butter.

He is the most beautiful man in the world better than Redford and Delon together. ❤
Agreed. I would sell my sould for that man lol. I personally never thought redford was all that attractive
I live his dancing
Theatre of Blood - my favourite horror movie! Vincent Price/Diana Rigg!!!! I'd walk on hot coals to see him in a musical version of that!!!
Saying this kindly, this seems to the most "normal" I've heard Walken speak.

AB FAB, all 3 of you!

I've done that .😃😊😀☺️
what kind of business? eeeh you know, some of that 'none of your business' business
Walken is magnificent. The interviewer really annoys me. Really.
"Baker Street," "Flora the Red Menace..."
Ladies and gentlemen....foo FIGHtahs.
...Dave Grohl TOHHHH-tally punked him(in a good way), but it was perFECtion...;)!!
Why do they pronounce "Spokane" so weirdly?
...one DOES wonder...;)??
...dunno, Gumby; the critic kid is from up-farther in NYState, Geneseo, but never heard anyone from those parts speak particularly ‘strangely’....
@@suzannereilman4516 It's pronounced Spoe-CAN. I live nearby
COOPER COOPER COOPER the lodge is opening soon.
A clear demonstration of why interviews should not be conducted by two interviewers. 14:39
MENSCH...!
What year is this from?!
10 years ago it says
@@bradley2492 Ohhh, thanks. :)
I prefer to eat with a knife n fork too. LOL
Why did he change his name? Whats wrong with Ronald Walken?
what is on his fingers? looks like writing..?
bet he signed autographs with a sharpie before the interview
Brian Hackert no
Its a tatoo on his fingers . I see an o an a v . Perhaps love???
if you think what you say is as interesting as what your guest says, you shouldn't be an interviewer.
Oh that hair do is unfortunate.
yeah even for walken it isnt very flattering
