The Intro was a bit longer as usual, cause Pau had to put on her shoes for acting in front... She usual plays drums with socks or barefoot. Beto Ramos was one of main drum teacher and a well known drummer in Mexico. Viva the Warning. Greets from Germany 😍⚡⚡⚡
Nice reaction, it’s obvious how much you appreciate the band (especially Pau!); it was interesting to hear a decent explanation of the lyrics, much appreciated! Roll on the next 10k 🤘🏻
Si,! Yo soy un gringo de los Estados Unidos y yo tengo muchos amigos de muchos países- México, El Salvador, Columbia, Guatemala, Peru, Ecuador, Espania y mi Español están muy diferente por qué mi maestros están de muchos países. Viva The Warning!🤟❤️⚡⚡⚡
My Spanish was Terrible growing up I live in Texas and me and all my friends at School we spoke Spaglish a compantion of English and Spanish, I have family in Mexico and when we go visit my family in Mexico my cousins would make fun of me and my brothers how we spoke Spanish except my two big brothers they spoke Spanish good. Then when I moved to California there were a lot of Mexicans that didn't speak English and I had to work with them so by hanging out with them My Spanish Improved now I speak it pretty good and when I met The Warning in Chihuahua Mexico I only spoke English with them.
The right term is "Malinchista". "La Malinche" was a native woman who collaborated with the Spaniards in Mexico's conquest. Mexicans call "Malinchista" to anyone who prefers or supports foreign persons or things over Mexican ones. Most Mexicans are not bothered about these ladies sing in English, only some haters, you can find some everywhere🤣. Everyone knows that the natural language for Rock&Roll is English. Actually most big rock bands which visit Mexico don't speak a single word in Spanish, let alone to sing in Spanish, nobody cares and they got sold out everytime🤣
I've learned one little tidbit of Mexican history thanks to The Warning...I find it ironic, to say the least, that they were accused of being "malinchista" because they weren't singing in Spanish. I don't know if/when I'll ever visit Mexico again, but the settings of a lot of their music videos in and around Monterrey look like very interesting places to visit.
Makes me wonder if ABBA ever received any backlash from the Swedes. Once again in my opinion all the songs they have released from this venue have been the best versions of those songs. Thanks for the reaction, Mr. J. 👍⚡⚡⚡
Spanish is a widely spoken language - hundreds of millions. So many Mexicans don't understand why TW wouldn't want to sing in Spanish. Swedish is spoken by a small number of people and songs in Swedish would have a small audience. TW said that they naturally wrote in English because they grew up hearing English language rock and Spanish is more difficult. There is a lot of good Spanish rock; but even with it being so widely spoken, English broadens the audience significantly. They critics were Monterrey bands that had been around for years without making any progress.
Different people/countries take different levels of pride when it comes to singing in their local language vs singing in English. Here in Germany we don't care too much, and northern Europeans are generally quite chill as well. But in other countries like France, Spain, Italy etc, the expectation to use the local language is much higher.
@@rickyjones01 Ok, Whatever she decides to do I can have a preference to watch it or not. Don't get me wrong I love The Warning. And as a drummer I love Pau, too.
@@jeffbaranowski6695 Sure you have a preference to watch or not. I was not saying you dont or taking it away. I dont think anyone else prefer to hear about it. Pau's performance in front as lead is what we came for and not a commenter preference.
Beto Ramos was great in this. Teacher and pupil must have both been thrilled.
Pau is a pau-erhouse!
Dude! Really. LOL
With a drum teacher like Beto Ramos, you know why Pau drumming is so.... awesome.👏👏👏⚡⚡⚡🤘🤘🤘

They rule bro just rule …How can anyone not love this band
Pau unleashed revs at the red line from start to finish!

I will be seeing them in Monterrey on October 25. Last time I was there I went hiking in the ecological park.

Same thing with Germans (Scorpions), Norwegians (a-ha), Icelanders (Bjork/Sugarcubes), Dutch (Golden Earring), etc.

Great reaction! Love the Warning ❤❤❤
This is their 'Barracuda'.

I prefer she stay behind the drums. She's the drummer that can sing while playing.
You dont get a preference on what she decides to do. Just enjoy!
