First Flight to Van Nuys One-Six Right (16R) in Cessna 172RG Cutlass

This is my first flight from Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport in San Diego to Van Nuys Airport. I flew a rented 1977 Cessna 172RG from Plus One Flyers. As for airspace, I did the Hollywood Park north route at 8500 feet over L.A.

Thanks! I'm not sure about NYC being less complex to fly through, but it's on my list! Looks like there are few tour routes around NYC that would be really fun to fly.

I used to fly in and out of BUR and VNY all the time. I never knew there was anything special about 16R. What's the big deal?
