The only thing she has going for her in duels is frame advantage and heavy parry wall pin, but then again you can bait that out because it’s her only way of getting big damage in besides level 3 bash. At this point might as well call jorm S tier lol. The only thing that gets you a win with this hero is skill, or really good reactions, or both. This hero doesn’t counter anyone but nuxia. Funny thing is I don’t even play this hero lol. She’s just booty.

An ub for even more pressure, more so os pressure. Dodge bash. Also using "u can just bait it out" as an argument is dumb, u can apply that to every hero in the game that doesnt make them worse. Using that logic u could say raider or pirate is worse than they actually are bcz u can bait out their dodge attacks. Just no. Frame advantage is a very strong tool, she has it constantly so long as shes making right reads. Just bcz u play at a low lvl and beat low lvl warmongers doesnt make her a bad hero champ

back into the game for the first time since ranked duels first came out. haven’t finished ranked placements yet but keep fighting characters I haven’t seen before, and after the big patch everyone’s lights are too fast to really react to (i’m on an older ps4) so probably going to be stinking it up in silver or lower now lol. used to be diamond back in the hayday
It changes the parry timings so instead of just muscle memory, you actually have to focus to parry. Thats how he was able to get so many light parries, he has the muscle memory of the timing.
The most fun I’ve had was in between silver V and Plat II, usually people try and switch it up and fight well. everything before isn’t good enough, everything after is toxic and they’ll just do whatever to win.
I'm in that weird area of the For Honor skill area where I haven't really hit my growth spurt yet despite playing this game on pc from early 2020 to mid 2020. I stopped for 2 years, then came back on PS4 Pro around February 2022, then switched to PS5 around June. I spend most of my time right now at high gold or low plat. I usually get placed after my 8 matches in Gold 3-4, but I work my way up to Plat 1-2 in the next hour or so afterwards. Mostly what is holding me back is not having a fast enough reaction time to be able to parry lights on reaction, like I used to be able to do on PC, I kinda just chalked that up to me being older, and therefore slower. That and I absolutely hate playing on controller, I much prefer mouse and keyboard because of the way the guard works on mouse. I could move my mouse all the way to the right side of my desk, and then move it just the slighted bit to the left and I would switch to left guard pretty much instantly. I was getting light parries like crazy. I'm talking about this because Angelus asked what our ranks was in Ranked, so I decided why not.
I’m rep 79 overall and currently in bronze V. I had satellite internet for a long time and just got cable a few months ago so most of those reps have come from playing against bots since I wasn’t able to do pvp before so the road’s been rough, but I’m working on improving my skills now.
Well headbutt into stab is 90% of the Warden toolkit. Obviously, there's fundamental skill though. Feints, stamina management, parries, footsies, match-up knowledge. If you put Garsten versus some random new Warlord you would easily see the tremendous difference in skill and experience. But at the end of the day, it's skill and experience in using headbutt, yeah xD
If your feint heavy into guard break you gotta do it fast cuz if too many frames of warmongers side unblockable heavy go by then you cant guard break. I have experience it in platinum 1 ranked.

Just focus on blocking more than anything. Get a monitor capable of 60hz or more because it will help reaction time. A wired controller will cut back on input delay as well. Also getting in the gym and in shape helps reactions too. Lastly, keep grinding! ;)

I usually fluxulate between diamond and master as a pk player. I don't like playing other diamond players it always feels like it's either oddd experimentation with heros or lag spikes that get them killed/kills. Only ever seems to be in diamond for me

Warlord need some side bash to make him more aggressive... since he only have so little chain that deals so little dmage
