- Welcome back folks! In this video I will be showcasing the AN-94 Abakan and giving my thoughts on the gun. I apologize for the low energy as I currently have the Rona so feelin kinda crappy. From what i recall, the gun has a very high rpm 2 shot burst because it's designed against body armor, so the bullets hit the same spot on the armor
The AN94 is a 2 round burst in real life. The kicker is that both rounds are sent down the barrel before the recoil is felt. This is due to the unique design of the gas and trigger system. It was designed this way to increase accuracy of multiple shots, and increase overall lethality. The more you know, just unfortunate you can’t really replicate that in a game like this.
looks really easy to replicate by adding a delay on the recoil then making it apply twice as much recoil when the second bullet is shot and then redo the delay on the 3rd bullet and so on
you could also have it have the same inaccuracy spread for the 2 round burst
it doesnt double the recoil though an AN has very very minimal recoil impulse similar to an aek-971 those are very low recoil weapons naturally from the design hell a ak 74 is also low and thats way less tech behind it @@snowfish7294

in reality, the an-94 has a complex mechanism where after pulling the trigger once the gun shoots 2 bullets before the bolt could return in place (may not be accurate, but thats the gist of it)
"shoots 2 bullets before the bolt could return in place " no the bolt has to return in order to fire the gun cuz you know.... a thing called a rotating bolt. bolt has to close in order to fire the gun thats how every gun pretty much every gun works because of you have an out of battery thats how guns blow up. watch forgotten weapons video on the AN94. it fires 2 bullets before the shooter feels the recoil impulse which in return would shift impact. but issue with ak platforms is barrel whip. if you watch AK's shoot in slowmo youll see the barrels flex and bounce up and down. th-cam.com/video/gtMssTSnRHU/w-d-xo.html

Liking the style of videos to hear your opinion on different guns. Hopefully in the next major content update 5.45 gets some love to feel different and as effective as all the other guns in the game. Keep it up brother!

Hey man, I hope you will feel better soon and stay safe out there. I also want to suggest you try Stalker Anomaly Gamma or EFP modpacks once you finish some stalcraft content, because stalcraft is inspired in the game Stalker and there are some modpacks that made the game more beautiful and addicting as well.
I've played and beaten all the stalker games, but never did the mods like gamma, so that's for sure a possibility!

The AN-94 was made to send 2 rounds down range before the carrier group hits the back of the recoil spring. It's super complex design. Basically what it does is send 2 rounds down range before recoil kicks in. And yes the real gun is a 2 round burst too.
Did not know that! Then again we don't have many of the Russian guns available in the States without paying an ungodly amount of money to get them lol.
@@MaximumAggro even the russian army doesn't have much of these guns. So seeing one in the states would be like seeing a unicorn.

so as soembody who has the gun i can say this. the gun is VERY good at long range (for an AR) the burst fire is pretty much guaranteed hit and when you are using the burst it has near perfect accuracy. it has a lot better long range than most rifles and i can say its good for the north, almost comparative to the M16 (we pretend the VSS does not exist). so if you have a seriously itchy trigger finger this is a great gun and shreds at long range. its like if the M16A2 and the M1A had a baby but the baby can only shoot in 2 and has a damage decrease.
Interesting, the tool-tip has it having the worst range out of all the ARs. (Damage drop-off wise anyway) I wonder if that's an error.
@@MaximumAggro its not nessasarily an error. it does indeed have the worst damage drop off BUT when in burst mode its accuracy is pinpoint even beyond its damage drop of point so it more than makes up for it because you hit every shot unlike any other AR as soon as it hits drop off range (M16, GROZA, even the SIG). with all the other AR's accuracy gets far worse as soon as drop off range is hit but for whatever reason not the AN-94. the gun really is something you have to learn to play instead of just what everyone expects from an AR. (point, shoot, control recoil, spray until enemy dead) i actually have a few clips of kills with the AN-94 using it at sniper rifle ranges where any other AR (pretend the val and its respective upgrades don't exist) would fail

btw when going from rostok bandit/stalker to the other side through Army Warehouses you can just run straight there and you will never lose your invincibility, also npcs dont react to you when you have invincibility

I'd say make the HK and leave the Sig for last, or you could use the monolith SIG for the showcase (already has the attachments someone would have at that level)

the thing that upsets me about the way they implemented this gun is that they left out a key feature.
the real life AN-94 when in full auto mode shoots a 2 round burst then slows down to 600rpm. So in reality you could burst fire the gun in full auto and still take advantage of the two round burst at the beginning of each trigger pull. Sadly they did not add this feature to the gun in game.
Watch the video on the AN-94 on the "Vickers Tactical" TH-cam channel they show exactly how the gun works its AMAZING.
Also like other people have stated the gun fires the 2 round hyperburst before the recoil hits your shoulder, the barrel recoils into the handguard like a cannon.
P.S. the gun doesn't feel like its at 1200 rpm when your burst fire spam clicking, feels like a lie :(
P.S.S. The mag on the AN-94 is canted at an angle because of the complex internal firing mechanisms. also i highly suggest getting the 45 round mag, when you use it you will notice the 45 round mag isn't canted on an angle and its mildly infuriating.
I did get the 45 rounder like halfway through the video so the last half was using the 45 rounder.

Also the thing u said bout the rithm of clicking it, just the same as throwing bolts, if u spam the mouse it will throw a lot slower than doing it timed, also the 2rd burst is the main feature in the gun ING and irl, had smth to do w the recoil of the gun I don't remember

Whatever you do don't leave Mercs right now since you cant rejoin as they are full. I honestly haven't heard much lore for Covenant since joining. I have only had 2 quests so far, I assume I need to increase my rep to get more quests but I havent done that yet.
@@MaximumAggro I left a week ago and it's been a pain xD. I only left since farming for the M1A FA was getting tiring since cov rock you in the western end.
But what I mean by lore is all the notes n such that you get for doing their intro sub-faction quest. Could explain their backstory, or at least religon
Yo again, just woke up and say this video, I forgot you were going to do an AN-94 Video so erm I might tell you some of the weird things about this gun.
The AN-94 irl has a 2 round burst, but the ROF is 1800, in game it is 2 round burst with 1200 ROF, the russians were building this gun in the mindset of, "If we shoot 2 bullets down range quickly, 2 bullets will hit about the same place and not have recoil." Like I said in the last video, the AN-94 is best suited for risktakers, rushers, to people who are going to solo 10 people on the enemy sides base. If you practice enough with the AN-94, it is terrifying being on the end of one because the ROF is so high that you basically have the wait in a corner. If you want to use the AN-94, I really suggest you use PSZ-10 armor or Kingpin armor with a really good speed, regen, or damage resistance build using artifacts in a KZS-5. Also for those wondering, the next upgrade is the AEK-971 for the Russian version. Also, hope you feel better.

think in the russian version after the an-94 should come the AEK-971 that may be worth something full auto 5.45 i believe with about 900 rpm iirc
I understand the awkwardness when firing. Same thing with quest m1a. You need to find a rhythm. The reason for that "awkwardness" might be game's tickrate - lesser it is, faster clicks might register as a same click - thus not continuing the spam. I dunno I'm just speculating.

The upgrate for the ABAKAN is the AEU-104 i guess or thats what i see.
I probably wont do any live streams until after I am done with all the weapon showcases and the Sub-Faction quests.
bro which is better the sig sg 550 or the m16 I already have the blue sig and the m4 but I don't know which one to spend my materials on help
I haven't made the Sig yet so I can only speak as to the Bandit only Sig Monolith, I would say the M16A3 I like the 820 RPM fire rate on it.
the real AN is a 2 round burst gun and it is a nice gun to look at not many exist cause they are expensive they are mainly collector guns irl, like top of the line gucci,
also i noticed since last update the game is borderline unplayable for me as my ping will be 106 and shoot straight to 1500 and fluctuate between those 2 numbers making it close to fucking impossible for me to play
Yeah I have noticed lots of micro stutters since the last update that werent there before too.
@@MaximumAggro im gonna wait for a fix to come out cause anytime i farm a huge amount of resources my game stats stutter skipping 5 seconds which is wayy too damn much

Is the asval still worth with the nerf? Got a +5 pp19 I was gonna turn into it
I honestly don't know how bad or good the AS Val will be after the nerf happens, I know the damage drops to like 22 from what it is now so.

Asval gets nerfed in may. New veteran/master guns get added in march. Asval is absolutely worth it, but there is a big question between groza and vss after content update.

How did you have like 1000 of bullet resistance?

My bullet resistance is 124.4, there is a decimal in there lol

We don't have access to most Russian guns in the States so I have no exposure to them. I've only ever seen them in games and I know better than to take fire rates/gun info from games as correct most of the time lol.
Aggro the real an-94 is a monster hyperburst 2 shot at 1800 irl. on full auto the first shot will be at hyperburst then it slows to 600rpm. very strange real world rifle. id still choose a val or a aek 971 irl too over the an-94 because that thing is like working on a clock lol no thanks

well with the bugs... what do you expect from modders turned devs? and modders for an incredibly easy to mod game like minecraft no less. It just inexperience with gamedev/QC/debugging
