- A poor wife is happier than a rich wife, which was very hard for the rich wife to accept at first. She though that marrying a rich man would make her happier. Being a poor wife doesn't mean being an unhappy wife.
She realized she was very wrong... her friend was happier than she was even though she was poor. Having a diamond ring and going on expensive vacations doesn't mean you will be happier.

Concerning this skit, you kind of start out hating on the rich woman and disliking her attitude, especially in how she looks down on the other woman with an unfounded ''it must suck to be you'' kind of vibe. But then you see how broken she really is and ultimately feel sorry for her given that she's only acting out because all she really wants is love from her husband which isn't made up for by all the riches she has.

Going shopping and being alone all the time can make you happy for so long that you start looking for something new to keep your time. And when she told the other girl that she went out and bought some new swimsuits for the trip I said then she would never get to use those cuz she ain't going nowhere cuz he's too busy to keep her time which means he's too busy to be a husband, father, or life partner because he's married to his work and not to her.
