In terms of character design, Tengen, Shinobu and Rengoku have the best costumes since all of them represent their character perfectly. The flame and butterfly patterns of Rengoku and Shinobu's haori showcases their breathing styles and Tengen with his sleeveless top and flashy accessories defines his flamboyant character. The most meaningful costume would be Giyu's considering his haori includes dual patterns which carries his sentiments towards the two most important people in his life, his best friend and his sister. But in terms of fashion and style, Misturi and Sanemi have the best costumes. I mean, come on! Sanemi has a cropped top for screaming out loud! And Misturi's skirt with such signature thigh highs is chef's kiss. Muichiro's costume is flowy and functional, Gyomei's costume suits his character very well and lastly Obanai's costume is the most basic, in my opinion. Imagine if his snake companion and his haori both had the same but a colorful scale pattern, it would've looked so much better.

1st thing is shinobu's haori does not resemble her breathing techniques and it actually isn't her's but belonged to her beloved sister kanae who died fighting upper moon 2 (douma)and shinobu got it from her after her death in her memory 2nd thing about giyuu Is he is also wearing a haori but it actually does not resemble "who he is" but actually resemble two of his most beloved relatives who were 1st his sister and 2nd his bestfriend who both died saving him and in their memories he took their clothes and made his haori to remember them and to honor them!! I hope you all got to know something about these 2🫶🏻
