you can try to use Yandex reverse image search. Yandex is web browser like Google from Russia. It's much powerful and accurate compared to Google image search

Hi @Rock Your Brand, I'd like to know if a logo with one letter could be an issue? I think letters can be considered generic (not sure). What is you advice on this? E.g. brand A uses "a" on their logo and brand B uses "a" on their logo too but with tiny little changes on the color

In this age of people aspiring to become fully realised self taught practitioners, be it graphic design or anything, it is so important to find comprehensive information.
    Thank you for this.
I also benefitted from your mentioning the trademark lawyers. One only knows what one hears about!
It would be great always to find a comprehensive overview education of the entire process.
This is something I really want.
Without explanation of how each thing is done (that can be searched for or left to another video), it would be great to have a video that tells about every step of the process for logo design.
Literally every step concerning it, without assuming previous knowledge. As if it's for someone who when first viewing it is someone interested in being a logo designer it doing it but wants to know about all the steps involved in that journey before deciding, and which can be used by that person as a guiding checklist to which he or she refers back to until having learnt and fulfilled each step of the process.
The video can be broken up into chapters and subchapters, but doesn't have to be detailed in terms of each step. Just say What has to be done without the How (but it's important not to miss out on key steps. How means information on how to do a task, whereas the what is what tasks there are to be done).
This would really give one their bearings, and of course they would look if you have the videos to answer those steps and thus is a great resource for finding more viewers, and a video to refer back to always when you make your specific videos.
It doesn't need to be done by you especially, and whoever does it should be a working professional and just tell every step that is needed to be taken that they know about.
    Simple, concise, and clear.
    Thinking out loud.
Maybe someone knows about this kind of thing?
Btw, you have a great amount of content that's wonderfully organised!
    Thank you

      Hey Hassan,
I do have a plan to do a 'from scratch' video on the logo design process, which will include brand strategy elements. However, as this would take quite a lot of my time, it will most likely end up as a video course on Skillshare, rather than something I'd put up for free on my TH-cam channel.
      We shall see though.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback :)

      Perfect!
Then, I would say it *might* (I think so) be good marketing material to create a video, as an advertisement, as follows.. also, I have learned that information giving is one of the best forms of advertising to collect trusting, willing customers (well done on your channel in that regard!). I do think you should make it paid for. You already have so much free content, it's more than sufficient.
Basically a video showing an overview of the course contents, while being meant to be helpful and informative, and enticing those who watch the video and those who followed your channel, to spend some dollars and invest in something where you teach everything (as much as you can or choose) about the topic.
What I imagine is a video in which you show all the general steps that need to be taken in the real world to arrive at a complete logo project. You could tell about every step that it takes - and you will have made a chapters in your course, and in this video you will show those main chapters and you will tell the viewer of every main step, and you will give a very vague idea of what has to be done in that but you will not tell exactly how to do it - you will leave that as the enticing thing where of course this knowledge is paid for. Just show what generally needs to be done and say, if you just need a bit of guidance and you don't need the whole course then this is going to help you know what the steps are that need to be taken and if you were missing one of the steps, now you will know where to go now and what to look for. However, if you needed the full information then you're going to find that and more and everything I can teach about logo design, it's all going to be in this course, for you.
After that, they will be pretty sold!
You have offered guidance, which is like doing a favour and psychologically that makes people feel open and even want to repay the favour. You have shown expertise, they know because you've proven to them the breadth of your knowledge, they feel in safe hands. However you said to them, there is more to learn, they know you will go deeper and they will be able to tell that "actually, I need this" (as many aha moments, moments and identifying one's own problems in progressing as a designer, those will be noticed by the one watching the advertisement, and that's valuable I believe, because of course they see their own connection or not connection with your material. You have a lot to advertise with, use it!).
You should make it #1 informative and it should be obvious that you are advertising the course. One should feel that even after watching this, one came out with a benefit, in this case a comprehensive guide on what process to go through (of course you must choose what to say and what to keep, but don't give an incomplete map. This video should be like a zoo guide, with a map, icons with numbers and a key that says what each step is. Of course, to learn each step is in the course, you have to go to the map.
Maybe you could sell individual modules for a fee on your website, giving even more access to possible customers - to people who know most of the steps but missed some.
How many know illustrator, but nothing about the legal stuff or branding? How many just missed design theory, but took every YT class on logo design and branding?
If possible I would offer packages, create simple ways to customise the buying what you need experience.
      See how the map helps?
      It's like the product guide.
To start off with maybe launch it with an offer, where buying individual modules is full price but complete course or half course purchases are on a launch discount. It shows the value and saving of the discount in proportion, which seems like a bonus.
Anyway, I really personally think you should tease the value as much as possible. Put the scente candle under our nose, let us smell the product - our solution, what we need and are looking for, if the viewer is a target audience member seeing the advert.
Mostly do it with value, trust building which is easiest through sincerity and honesty and great communication, and making it really speak to the people who will be buying this, and keep checking if it speaks to them.
Create a customer profile, maybe three even, and see how this speaks to them just so you can get in their mindset. It's good that you can understand them already by being one of those types yourself, in your past. But it matters just to see if your communication, the whole video, is speaking to them and how it is. No one likes to be sold, so don't sell... Just show them around your studio so to speak, they are already interested so form a relationship and give them something they will find valuable, and really make them not want to leave your hypothetical studio.
I'm not an expert but well, phone is lagging now so I'm pressing send

@@RockYourBrand I would just finally add that the most interesting way I would say, to advertise, is to make the whole video experience something that both gets to the heart and soul of your customer as well as showing them the practical solution that is there in front of them now, finally (after so long). Get them to feel, experience in as many ways as you can do, the connection to the craft they long to learn. Tap into what has inspired everybody who wants to become a logo designer. Think of as many different reasons you can as to what it might be that is going to connect the viewers to the experience that they seek to have. It is a bit more abstract but I think it helps to understand the feeling and the emotion that drive the people. You don't want to get lost from the practical side of delivering the most important parts of the video, because there's no use leaving your customers with half an hour of abstract cinematography, nor with stock footage-esque nonsense, but to see how much raw feeling that you experience as a graphic designer logo designer that you can express and show in your video that's going to connect to your customer to you. They will feel a connection then either to you or to your course and either way they're mine already knows what they looking for, and you're clearly going to communicate that quite easily, but I feel it doesn't matter to connect with the people and I'm just wondering how to do that as well as selling what you know.
I am imagining a video in which you give all the information I was telling about but you do it in a way that speak to the customers directly as human beings. Maybe try not to think selling when considering this..
