We went about 8 years ago but unfortunately had a grumpy 13 year old with us 🤣 So we’ve decided to go back next Spring (without him, he’s 22 now but even so, he’s not coming!) and enjoy it again. I want to stay in the same hotel which was opposite the Tuileries gardens, but your view of the Eiffel Tower was fabulous. Isn’t Paris the most beautiful city? I love London but Paris is so beautifully designed and every building is stunning. Congratulations on your Chanel bag!

I went solo the week before you! Similarly, no one wanted to come so I went alone, made new friends and hung out with someone I knew. My friend has a phenomenal view of the Eiffel Tower from her window and rooftop. She even lets couples and influencers do shoots there if anyone is interested! I loved my solo trip so will be going back this month. I recommend Hotel Amoi if you ever return. It's new, super chic and well located.

I flew my grand niece and her Mom out to visit me (I live in Spain) in Paris for her spring break. We left on the 14th of April. I took them to 🗼, arc de triomph, Seine cruise, galaries Lafayette roof top, Disney, and Angelina. My third time this year, six all together. Four solo. First time was in 96. I'm planning on Morocco before I leave Spain in a few months. Cheers!

I enjoyed watching your Paris Vlog! My sister and I were there the March 25th- March 30th and the new took the Eurostarto Londonafter that. We so enjoyed our time there, but now see restaurants we need to try. We felt so blessed with the opportunity to ho and everyone we met was nice and graced us as well. We're planning to go again soon.

Awww thank you so much! It was actually really easy to get aroung (I used Google maps to navigate public transport or took Ubers) and most people could speak English so I had no issues communicating. I also downloaded a Translate app but I never had to use it.

Hiya it was great for me because there's a metro station 2 minutes away from the hotel and the Eiffel Tower is only 7 minutes away but you might want to map out the landmarks you want to visit and decide that way

I think Paris is one of everyone’s dream city. I’m a bit concerned about safety so I’ll probably visit with a relative. However maybe a silly question did you need to know a lot of French to get around the city or do you recommended googling a few common phrases
Not a silly question at all! I got by with very basic French - literally just greetings, please and thank you. I found a lot of people in Paris spoke English.
I know what you mean! I only use Tripadvisor, Get Your Guide, Airbnb or Viator or the official website for tours. I think this time I used Get Your Guide:)

Hello Ifeyinwa, I’m guessing you got the macaroons from Galeries Lafayette. Do you remember exactly what part? From the video, it looks like the place I stumbled upon a few years ago but I couldn’t find it the last two times I went to Paris. I know there is a food court at ground level that sells macaroons but I thought I went down stairs the first time and it looks like where you went. Sorry for being wordy 😂

Well it was a 7 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower but I think I got the metro to everywhere else. It's only a 3 minute walk to the closest metro station so it's a very convenient base.

Hello Ifeyinwa, I’m guessing you got the macaroons from Galeries Lafayette. Do you remember exactly what part? From the video, it looks like the place I stumbled upon a few years ago but I couldn’t find it the last two times I went to Paris. I know there is a food court at ground level that sells macaroons but I thought I went down stairs the first time and it looks like where you went. Sorry for being wordy 😂

Hi! Was your hotel in walking distance to most places that you visited?
Well it was a 7 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower but I think I got the metro to everywhere else. It's only a 3 minute walk to the closest metro station so it's a very convenient base.
