    Want to help support the channel for FREE? Just shop on Amazon using my link: amzn.to/3kjQ2dy As an Amazon affiliate I'd get a small commission that comes out of Bezos' pocket, not yours.

    cant find the video you mentioned at 3:47 of the shop pressing in the delta joints. I need to replace the ball joints on the ones billet piece i have on the car now. Do i need to buy the adapter if i am taking it to a shop?

    I got JBA due to having 90 degrees of articulation and a heavy duty ball joint lifetime warranty and the bushings are exclusive.

    Wondering if Heim is a good option. Heard it wears out much faster than the urethane bushings, and I'm not sure how it would perform with harsh canadian winters.
    Debating on the Icon tubular, or the billet with heim mounts, or the JBAs.

    What about the adjustable links on the end of uca? Is that something you adjust or save for the alignment shop?

    Ok bud I gotta ask something I feel stupid asking..I have the icon tubulars now. I just ordered the icon billets. The tubular kit comes with poly bushings where the arms actually attach to the truck frame with that long ass bolt that's a pain to remove and they have zerk fittings there as well as on the delta joint unibal portion.... The billet ones olmost look like it's just a metal hole where they attach with no insert or anything in there. Like metal on metal or something. Is there like a urethane coating on the inside of the holes or something so it can travel up and down without rubbing a divit or something in the mounting bolt.
    Thanks for your time brother.
    Great and informative vid.....

    I have heard many guys say overgreasing can be just as detrimental. I have their tubular UCAs and have only greased twice since installation 25k ago and still no squeaks. My Delta joints get greased each oil change but bushings do not need it very often if installed correctly.

    Those Icon UCA look great. Do they come with the Tacomaholic decals? I'm planning to raise my 2019 TuRD Sport and I should install these at the same time. Any suggestions or tips I need before lifting? I am planning a 2 inch lift.

      @@Tacomaholic I want to go with a suspension lift without using strut spacers. Also, I want a Tacomaholic key chain like you had in one of your other videos. Have you installed a cat back exhaust system yet? I installed a MagnaFlow system that uses an upstream resonator. My TuRD now sounds like it has a bad ass V-8 under the hood. I also installed a Rough Country cold air kit. The exhaust now drowns out the intake sounds.

    Are these worth the almost $500 difference from the tubular? How have the rod ends held up?

    • @Tacomaholic
      @Tacomaholic  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mine have been great but they are certainly expensive. I got mine at a massive discount though so not sure if I would have paid full price.

    • @kenchiison4570
      @kenchiison4570 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have a set of bullets that I just took off and replaced with tubular. 30,000 miles and the rod ends are shot. The squeaking has been driving me crazy, so I pulled one off. They came with the uniball, which wore out in about 18k miles. Changed it out to a delta joint, but the noise continued. Billets are OK for a drier environment, but if you're in mud and snow, the tubular ones with the poly bushings, which are greaseable, last longer. Now I have a set of billet ucas for sale. Cheap.
