- This is Mike walking us through his 1983 BMW 320i. He bought the car new in 1983 and has the original invoice. This car is a time capsule and a great example of how to keep a car original.

He was so nice and his wife was amazing. They were so happy to capture him talking about his beloved car. I just did this video for them as they contacted me through a car club to help them sell the car. I just did if free for fun!

Looks like it was relisted and just got sold today in Mill Creek Seattle area. I was hoping to drive over tomorrow on my day off and get it.

I'm over in cental Washington and only drive 2 miles to work. Looking for a fun little car to drive around town. Looking for a little manual BMw. Never owned one.
2800 RPM!?!? The M10 is rev happy motor, the once tuned for hillclimbs rev to like 11k rpm, these will rev to 7k before valve float happens wtf, he is missing out on the entire experience of driving an m10 car. I mean the powerband doesn't even wake up until like 4500-5k

The problem is BMW stopped making a lot of parts for this generation 3, in the last few years.
And there is a limited amount of aftermarket support (with the exception of the M10 engine, because it was in the 2002)

In all honesty. I owned the same 83 BMW 320i in 96. It had a carpeted trunk and likewise panels, no rust. I sold it for 3,500 with 500.000 miles on it. The engine ran so smooth that you could literally put a drink on it and it wouldn't spill.
