The double decker bus is a pretty good way to explore tangier. Its cheaper than jumping on multiple taxis and city buses. Ps: cafe baba and tangier in particular always reminds me of the late chef Anthony Bourdain.
If we only have a short time in a city I typically love a double decker bus. You can see so much of a city in one day. We just really wanted to explore the street. We did ALOT of walking. Haha PS: I (Britt) love Anthony Bourdain he has been a big inspiration for my travels
This cafe was frequented by Brain Jones and Paul Bowles they were friends .. the Stones make here their song " continental Drift " 1989..they were known in Morocco ,but in the sixties nobody knew them ..

I don’t think she’s American. They have an accent when they speak. When she said brefas that didn’t sound right. I bet she’s not American, I’m American and only certain people say brefas lol I say breakfast and so do everyone I know
CTM is more expensive, the normal coaches just as good, and cheaper, but they can add extra hour or so to your journey, There are also shared taxis from tangier, near the old bus station, 3/4 Euros each.
Your card will never ever get scamed in Morocco especially in ATMS. Moroccan Banks have a very goo reputation. I go there all the time and never had any issues. But exchanging cash in those exchange shops get you more money and no fees
That is good to know! Thank you I’ve lost my cards a few time and even had my bank account drained. It was a complete nightmare. Thank you so much for the information and reassurance 🧡
Tanger was not colonized by the french. Btw morocco was never a colony buf a protectorate. So there is no French Architecture in Tangier. It‘s possibly spanish maybe or Andalusian.

Neither Coca Cola or Pepsi are good. Lot lot lot lot of sugar. Not good for you. I know that you know. But the explanation on how their strategy for penetrating the market was very very interesting ....
Never heard of that fact of coca ccola vs pepsi.. I know moroccan's brand in soda are having more in market share than any other brands and are cheaper and taste better.and also.shweeps brand. Yes moroccan taxi system probably among the worst in the world, and morocco for last 15 years refuse to allow free market taxy system that will compete with medallion taxi that are strickly given by government to ghost recepions .. And yes , there honest moroccans taxi drivers, but you have to be vigilant from the bad ones.
We loved our time in Tangier! We didn't try any sodas in Morocco but the mint tea was our FAVOURITE!! The majority of moroccan taxi drivers are honest. But we have to be wary as two travellers by ourselves for the first time in a new country
Your information about the old madina is wrong, I find it rude and disrespectful when you said that was famous of brutal and criminals, actually that area is known as Jewish and Spanish area back in the days
your video about Tangier is very short and few wrong historic facts. I can see you both are new you-tubers but please make sure you do your homework first and thanks for visiting my beloved city.
Second hand! It's brand new stuff, Tangier was a international city, the north of Morocco was occupied by Spain, Morocco was occupied by a coalition of two states backed up by other European countries, because it's not an easy prey, we had to fight France for 30 years before being defeated, which means that Morocco was finally occupied in 1930 1932, at the battle of anwal Spanish soldiers drank their urine to stay alive and was defeated, if khattabi decided to cross the sea he had the chance to occupy Spain but decided not to do so!
Why do you specificaly mention Spain in this video about Tangier ?!??!??!?!? Spain was not the only country to occupying North Morocco!!!! For instance Portugal did it much before !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
