He created the video to uplift his co-workers during a time when his job had became stressful. Just a goofy video to uplift his co-workers. He uploaded it onto a site (I forgot the name of it) and after it started to blow up on there, he decided to upload it onto TH-cam.

Later, I would attend film school at NYU, in part because of wanting to do TH-cam as a child and go viral. They wanted their video to be solely on their channel, so the current holder of the old numa-network (now dork daily) channel was forced to delete the original video or face a copyright strike and the video would've been deleted regardless. I believe they have a video up showing them being forced to delete it and the last current view count. I'd be less annoyed if it wasn't for the fact that the reupload is not up to par with the original upload that was deleted. Least we got a 2023 version to replace the original as it no longer exists, it might be a video on this channel now, but it is not the original and unfortunately never will be. I can respect wanting your work that you created to be under your control, I'm still upset about it though.

I studied abroad in Italy in 2002 and heard this song in a disco club and loved it, bought the cd upon returning to the states. It’s now almost 2025 and I still love it.
