Amjad Islam Amjad is an Urdu Poet, Drama writer and lyricist from Pakistan. He has received many awards for his literary work and screenplay for TV, including pride of performance and Sitara-e-Imtiaz. Amjad Islam Amjad reciting his ghazal/nazm at Jashn-e-Rekhta.
Jashn-e-Rekhta, a 2-Day grand Urdu Festival celebrated by Rekhta Foundation (www.rekhta.org) on March 14th and 15th at India International Centre, Delhi.
For two mesmeric days, some of the Urdu’s finest poets, authors and artists came together to bring alive Urdu’s lyrical beauty and resonating eloquence through live performances, panel discussions and interactive sessions.

Kia Khoob hay khayyal*manzar hay qaddeem magar ainkhain badalti hain.* Fascinating reality.I can not say whether we are being sucked into the black hole,as far as the value of morality is concerned,or we have become more knowledgeable and conscious of the things taking shape around us.What makes us believe,the old times were better than the present?Living in the past need no herculean efforts or preparations,one can jus get into it at will to own convenience,but the present is a hard reality,while the future cast greater cautions of perceptions.
